its because Greece beat Russia in the game. in the event of a tie for points the first tiebreaker is whoever one the match between the two teams, if that game was a draw then it goes to goals.
 
greece is by far my least favorite team in the whole tournament the way they play soccer is just stupid and lazy.
 
yeah and it shows, they score 1 goal and the entire team sits behind the halfline and plays numbers defense. fucking busted.
 
how chelsea got to the champions league final...

i think its poor form, doesnt equate to good soccer, but its a good tactic against a stronger team.
 
no doubt I am a chelsea fan but that game was painful to watch, bayern was definitely the better team. Greece won the euro in 2004 with that strategy so it does work, but it is still annoying to watch. I enjoy your views on sports sir.
 
im bummed that greece went through, i think it would have been a good match having russia vs germany but now greece gonna get bumfucked by germany

I'm hoping Holland finds their goalscoring rhythm today. These aren't my real, objective opinions; it's just what I want.
 
I'm excited for today's games. This is a little late but Sweden's keeper tripped out so hard on Walcott's goal lol.
 
if germany loses to denmark there is still a chance they could be eliminated, they need a tie for sure, but they will go for the win like dingosean said, because that is there style

Just my opinion, but i don't believe Germany is gonna win so big. Have you seen Denmarks last games? Unfortunately i have to agree with you on the 2-0 for Portugal.
