Not bad at all, of course I'd like them to be more competitive.I'm still Irish.

They were expected to lose all three. It was an accomplishment to make it to the tournament for them so I'm happy.
 
i dont. when was the last time any team actually tried to go out and play against spain? the dutch tried for the first 5-10 minutes of the WC final and got ripped apart then went started playing defensively and hacking at the spanish. i think that any team that tries to play a normal attacking game against spain will get ripped apart, their midfield is just way beyond any other team in the world
 
When did I say Croatia will try and play with Spain? They're perfectly suited to sit deep and play on the counter. They're in a good position in the group so they only need a draw. They'll play with 6 back, break through Modric, and swing in crosses to their two big forwards. Mandzukic is tearing it up right now. And people, stop going crazy about Spain all of the sudden; they were playing Ireland. They're definitely one of the tourney's stronger, if not the strongest, sides, but they're far from invincible.
 
This. It's surprising that Podolski isn't performing in the German shirt but Mueller is probably just getting in based on his exploits at the World Cup. Germany hasn't even gotten out of first gear yet!
 
And for people watching in Canada how shyte are the announcers on TSN? Even the anchors for the pre/post game shows are shocking. Give me some Gary Neville!
 
U.S. is almost as bad. We get one good game from the two guuys who do the epl. then we have casey keller being a fucktatd. at half we here alexi talking out of his ass and trying to argue with everything ballack says
 
In England the coverage is just as bad. Lazy former players collecting their pay cheques to say "Well, I don't really know..." For example Alan Shearer's self proclaimed 'expert analysis' amounts to a conveyer belt of cliches and the kind of insight that a six your old would describe as laughable. And to boot, they give you no info about players on the smaller nations. Its your job, do a little research. Although here there is a function to get radio commentary on the tv coverage, and those guys are actually good, because they don't talk to you like a moron and actually do some research around the game.
 
be happy you dont have to listen to the speakers in switzerland. cant get any worse. says wrong names to players, misjugdes all the time and they always prefer one team... i would rather listen to speakers from turkmenistan than the swiss ones

OK so the game is postponed?? To when? My internet here was being gay so I couldn't listen or watch I have no idea what's going on lol.
 
Yeah it seems they won't start up again until at least 1pm eastern. I am assuming Sweden and England will be similarly delayed as a result.
 
What did i say, theres andy carrol coming in hot.

i hope sweden can get a goal though, make things interesting. england better not just sit back the rest of the game.
 
These announcers are great. Have some personality and they know what they're talking about. Anyone else catch "This is just like a Premier League game except Carrol is on the score sheet"?
