Netherlands still has a chance of moving on, 1.) Germany must win over Denmark, 2.) Netherlands must win over Portugal by 2 points or more.
 
What would happen if the Dutch win by one, and Denmark loses by 1? Then Denmark, Portugal, and Holland would all have a goal difference of -1 and they would each 1 win, 2 losses.
 
If Netherlands wins 1-0 next game then all three teams will have 3 points and a -1 goal difference. Does anybody know what the tiebreaker is?

a) higher number of points obtained in the matches among the teams in question;

b) superior goal difference in the matches among the teams in question (if more than two teams finish equal on points);

c) higher number of goals scored in the matches among the teams in question (if more than two teams finish equal on points);

d) superior goal difference in all the group matches;

e) higher number of goals scored in all the group matches;

f) position in the UEFA national team coefficient ranking system;

g) fair play conduct of the teams (final tournament);

h) drawing of lots."

 
I'm pretty sure Portugal has the most goal difference besides Germany atm, so if Holland won 1-0, 2-1, etc. Portugal would still move on.
 
I am ashamed of the dutch team.. I was prepared for a though battle, even a 1-1 or 2-2, but they sucked so hard..so amazed.. bizar!

Where were the mid fielders?

Why was everybody standing still?

Basic rules..they were thrown overboard, like they dont even know them, lots of top players in europe..wtf?

I wouldnt say give up, they put less effort forth in the last 10 minutes but Germany was also wasting time.
 
Despite how well they played today I really wish Germany would start Reus/Schurrle/Gotze on the wings instead of Podolski and Muller. It would make them a lot more dynamic in attack.
 
Huh... those tiebreaker rules are interesting. If Greece wins against Russia they have a very good chance of advancing.
 
Holy shit. What an abomination. The first 20 minutes we owned the germans. But as soon as they started playing and decided we should be done, we were. Fuuuuck. And why the fuck no Huntelaar... He should have played from the start, fuck Affelay. And the defense was so incrediblby weak. Only good player in the back are De Jong and Heitinga.

Also, I don't know why Van Bommel gets so much hate. Amazing player, very consistent and he wins all his duels. Sure he did fuck up one Dutch attack last night, be he immediatly went after the ball and took it back.

Pffft... I'm gonna cry just a little more.
 
Willems is absolute shit. He should not be playing. One of the times that they scored was because Van Bommel and de Jong were both over there helping him out because he sucks, so they could easily get the ball in to the midfielder, who was Schweinsteiger, and just get an easy goal. This might have happened both times but I didn't watch the second goal multiple times.

Either way, I hate Willems. And we need to learn how to keep possession in the opposing team's third of the field. Too much play in the middle and whenever it gets down there we lose it.

Too bad Croatia took advantage from a single fault because that Italian defense was doing en excellent job.
 
Wow, that was quick. Glad to see Torres score, I feel bad for him for all the negative criticism he's been getting lol.
 
I predict Germany to finals and why not France... England is gonna be wiped out. Spain could do real good though.
 
Man if this shit happens again tomoro and the streams don't work and I can't watch the France game, I'm gonna be fuckin pissed.
 
You mean sat Fabregas? Idk what theyre going to do against Croatia...In my eyes Torres and Fabregas both deserve to start. I'm guessing he'll give it to Torres after his performance today.
 
after watching both matches today i can say monday will be an all or nothing performance from both Croatia and Spain. glad i found tickets for that match!
 
Keep in mind that Ireland is probably the weakest side in this tournament. I think Croatia will give them problems.
 
No I'm talking about the first game. I honestly thought they would go with Torres right from the start, that's what I would've done, and I think they would've gotten a better result.
