I would say no. It's supposed to be 10 and sunny tomorrow then 10/11 and rain during the weekend. Any snow they do have they wouldn't want to get pushed all over and melted away a lot faster than if they left it in a pile.
Saturday they had 2 down rails, a flat box and a butter box. I went today, and they removed everything. All there was was a flat box and pvc we setup ourselves.
I'm guessing they took the stuff down to blow and move more snow around during the week and to probably get a decent setup going for Christmas holidays.
Little update from the hill. They have the mini park set up pretty nice. A small walk ride, flat down box, pvc, long down rail, barrel, flat box, and flat rail.
Yo I'll be there tomorrow. Look for me in a brown orage coat that actually fits, yellow snowpants, full tilts and last years Punx riding with 3 boarders
The park is looking pretty good right now. Its a bit icy from that rain yesterday, but other than that its good. I don't know how to embed youtube videos so heres a like to an edit i put together of the park. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuqdVz1fv1Y
little bit last minute, but if there are a few NSers at the hill tomorrow I'm thinking we should do a just-for-funsies little mini-comp. If you're down come say hi, I'll be the patroller with the red pants/seth pistols. and maybe if we buy MacMahoooon a beer he'll come judge a couple runs
first they'll have to open Zoomer completely so there's somewhere for people to ski that isn't a circle before closing off Yoddler. and they might even want one of the other skiers left runs open first too. then they'll have to blow a bunch more snow in there for the features. end of the month would be my best guess. I just really hope they put in some sort of jump soon, even a mini one at the bottom would be dope
oh yeah. the speed is a little wonky you kinda have to skip a few features in the park. it seems like if you bomb from beside the flat rail you're ok. i was doing some backflips and cork 7s, it was a soft landing today
