Official College Acceptance Thread '10

thank you but i'm a little bummed because i did early decision so i'm stuck going there. i didn't think i was going to get in so i was kinda hoping to go to uvm
 
My brother and sister just got into there 1st choice colleges ( NC STATE and UNC Ashville) I dont find out for another month. Im freaking out atm haha.
 
Got into UVM with a major in biochemistry, haven't heard from/never finished applying to Delaware, Stevens, Rutgers and some other places.

Super claim thread.
 
got into St. Anselm, UNH, and Roanoke, still waiting on St. Michael's and haven't finished with all of my schools
 
Got into Georgia Southern

Still waiting to hear back from Gainesville, and GGC...

Im hopin to goto gainesville, so I can ski... Georgia Southern is in Bumblefuck GA, with nothing around... over 8-9 hours to nearest resort

if I'm not mistaken those are all jesuit schools with the exception of portland and willamette...did you go to a jesuit hs or are you obsessed with the society of jesus or something...also as a Portland native I can tell you UP is a great school and the neighborhood its in is really chill. I go to USC and all the people I've met down here that go to LMU hate it just fyi, santa clara is pretty nice and gonzaga probably has the best skiing, willamette is in salem and theres not much to do there if that means anything to you
 
^^^Portland is also Jesuit (or at least Catholic) as I already got in there with a 56 grand scholarship.

Just found out that I got into Seattle U today, so stoked as I would rather go there than Portland.

I should hear back from Denver U and Boulder this week
 
Got into Colorado School of Mines, University of Utah, University of Maine and waiting to hear back form University of Florida, NC State, Coast Guard Academy, and UC Boulder. I'm majoring in engineering wherever I go.
 
I find it hard to believe that it is $6000 to go to school. Its going to depend on the school. In the US it depends on in or out of state. I go to UVM out of state and its around $43,000 a year.
 
no its just over £3000 at every uni in uk, legally they aren't allowed to choose the fees themselves. thats only for tuition though. college in US is ridiculously expensive....
 
Applied to these. No chance I won't get accepted any of these. Accepted at Northern Arizona.

Probably going to University Utah, economically its cheaper than CU, even with instate.
 
You seriously pay that much to go to a public school? Holy shit.
I'll probably have spent $50,000 total by the time I'm done and I feel like that is a lot.
 
most arnt, but cinci's was top 5 in the nation...3 internsip semesters, 5 years, like 450 appied to Architecture program of daap, 250 meet requirements, 50 accepted
