Official Big Sky/ Moonlight thread

Poked through trees along Buffalo Jump, Calamity Jane, White Fang, and Black Bear i think?

I only got a couple runs in before and after work. But it was good!

So not that it matters with the dumpage but is swifty park up yet? And if so, hows it lookin?

Just don't ski patches of snow which are untouched with a bunch of tracks that are around those areas. It isn't "fresh pow" it is a pile of rocks. Especially on Challenger I have hit so many rocks where I thought I was gonna get some freshies.

Hah of course, that's anywhere. I thought he was referring to something Big Sky specific. That's why I was asking. Either way, I am getting anxious!

we get some really sharp loose rock. its like skiing on a cheesegrater. just keep your eye out for it though and youll be fine

Hell yeah dude, you're going to have an awesome time, the snow has been really good so far. Where are you staying?

Friends of my family have a condo out there, so I am not totally sure to be honest. Hah to me, I could be staying in the basement of a cracked out, hooker infested motel in bumfuck, and as long as I get to shred a new mountain, life is goooooooood.

They opened yesterday. Sheddy was awesome, didn't make it to Dakota. The slide from Lenin took out the trail map above Sheddy. Now the pieces of the sign are all over the run. The runout of the slide went really far down, and there are some nasty chunks to lookers left of the lift. Lookers right was really good before the line got to be long.

I got first tracks down second gully when it opened...sooo good. Marx was pretty good just after opening too, but most of the peak is pretty beat up after the gangbanging it recieved after not being open for so long. We reealllyyy need snow.

Whose stoked for the high of -5 tomorrow? I'll be out all day, thermos with hot toddies in the backpack, yes sir.

Underground was awesome yesterday!

Anyone know what day Dirtbag Day is? I need to make sure I have that one off as well

Big sky passes for students are on sale now for $589, which is pretty damn sick if you ask me. Plus if you buy it this year, you can use it for all of april as well. So when bridger/moonlight closes, you can still get some shredding done up at BS.

really really really stoked on the $110 price drop from last year's late season price

moonlight extended their season. snow permitting they will be open as late as big sky now. but still an unbelievable deal. big sky's pricing is finally close to that of other college passes.

In case you haven't heard... Big Sky and Moonlight are gonna be really really really really good Wednesday-Friday. Or at least really good.

Bridger? might be too warm.
