Great series nevertheless... Verlander's just retarded good.... as is the rest of Detroit's godforsaken starters...

This A's team was so fun to watch this year. Nobody expected them to have the 2nd best record in the AL, much less win their division, or make the playoffs or even win over 80 games...

All those rookies.. primed for success over the next few years, hopefully.

 
stoked for tomorrow. hope the o's and nats both can pull it off in game 5. tonight was a good night of baseball too
 
true, i feel a little guilty/fair weathery cheerin for the nats these days but not the O's.

i used to go to camden yards at least 15 games per year back when they were shit. didnt really follow them much this season till august but damn it feels good to see em on top after all those years of gettin taken over by yankee/red sox fans at camden yards.

Cardinals vs Nationals is a damn good game. Regardless of the outcome, this is fucking playoff baseball. Game 5, visiting team Cardinals scoring 4 runs in the 9th inning to gain the lead for the first time in the game was entertaining to say the least.

Fuck yeah for October baseball.
 
Cant believe the Cards did it again. 6-0 (7-0 if you count the end of 2011 season) in elimination games is insane.

Another record set by postseason Cards, biggest comeback by a team in an elimination game.

Now I have to hope that DETROIT wins? seriously? fuck you MLB... I hate all 3 of the other teams...
 
that was pretty clutch. whatever you think about the cards, gota give them credit for that.

this has been a pretty exciting post season.
 
At this point I'm not even surprised that the cards pulled off that comeback. Assuming the cardinals win this next series against the giants, I'd love to see the cards beat the yankees in the world series. For me living in NY, that would be huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu............ge
 
When it was Freese, down to his last strike AGAIN. I couldn't believe it was about to happen again. It just felt like they weren't out yet. So unbelievable I can't get over it! What a game.

As long as NY or SF fail, I'll be content. I couldn't care less otherwise.

(Though, it has been a really long time since Detroit won a world series, so I'll go for them... especially in a rematch of 2006)
