jays have a great shot this year. should be better than the yankees and bosox , theyre time is just about over.

Tampa should win the AL East with Jays getting one of the wildcard spots!

Buster Olney saying the Rockies have the 5th best lineup in the MLB this year jacked me up, lets hope the pitching comes around and it should be a good year.

this is the truth. this core they have of young guys having fun will lead to great things:

Arencebia, Romero, Lawrie, Snider, Thames, Rasmus, Cecil, and still more upcoming.

damn oh yeah and some guy named Jose Bautista to top it off.

what a fun team!

Im trekking to Cleveland for the first game of the season

have you seen that pic of lawrie at the Leafs game where he snuck up behind a fat lady's plumber crack? its so funny.

Is the season over yet? Nope like 6 more months of ESPN top plays being dominated by a diving catch, a home run, or a double play. YAY baseball season.

^its not even football season and nfl live is still on all the time and they still talk about football all the time on espn, when it isnt baseball season, they dont talk about it on sports center and baseball tonight goes away until next season. deal with it.

I didn't say one word about a lack of football coverage, so I find that equally annoying. And in the past week or 2 I have seen at least 15-25 mins on ESPN about off-season moves and spring training camps. Plus a game everyday is to damn much man, season is wayy too long.

Oh well agree to disagree, they just better not play one game over March Madness.

Yeah I know. Don't get me wrong I do not hate the sport. I just prefer to wait until the post-season when things get good.

so pumped for the cubs season, I know it's a rebuilding year but it will still be fun to see all of our young talent out there. Epstein and hoyer are definitely turning things around.

Theo is definitely gonna be a lot more structured, should be interesting to see what he can do with them in one year.

Every should note that they are allowing more teams in to the playoffs this year. Im kinda pissed because the four teams from each leagues made the MLB standout form other leagues. Made it so every game count out of 162 games.

Im spectacle about the Rockies pitching, hopefully our prospects perform at high level throughout the season. Im also stoked on Jamie Moyer. He's old, but with go 7+ innings almost every game. He also wins a lot of games. Gonna be a good season.

I'm actually excited about it. For one thing, it'll definitely make the end of the season more of a chaotic run-in.

Plus I stand to make more money if the red sox play more. My dream is winning every playoff series in the maximum number of games. Would be nerve racking, but I'd make out quite well for myself.

and with that said, it'll probably take me until around mid june before I can recite who plays for the sox by memory. I just don't pay much attention in the off season.

salty, gonzalez, pedroia, punto/aviles maybe iglesias, youk, sweeney, ellsbury, crawford. kalish hopefully gets a shot once he is healthy in right field, or left if crawford isn't healthy. beckett lester bucholz then the rest of the rotation is up for grabs without lackey and dice-k

im optimistic about this season, hopefully they dont fall apart like they did in september again. rays and yankees are gonna be good, and i doubt that 3 teams from the AL east make the playoffs, especially if the angels are contenders this year.

and to the guy saying that the blue jays are gonna make the playoffs since the sox and yankees are past their prime, i understand being optimistic but you really think that the jays are going to finish 2nd to the rays?

usually i only know anyone because they put banners of the the day's starters above the team store on yawkey. Always check it quick before we get going.

I can't see another collapse like that one. Not 2 years in a row.

last time i did this a thread it was for the New York Giants and they won the superbowl so

SOON TO BE WORLD SERIES CHAMPS!

I am a die hard cubs fan, lets just put that out there, but Miami might have a pretty good team this year. With all thier trades, it'll be interesting.

baltimore orioles. oh yeah worst in the league bitches!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nationals are getting decent though. harper nd strasburg.

Magic Johnson just purchased the Los Angeles Dodgers. I have worked for a single A affiliate of the Dodgers for the past 4 summers... met a lot of really good baseball players, including Clayton Kershaw, Jerry Sands, and Dee Gordon (all on the Dodgers 40 man roster, and obviously Kershaw is a beast). I am a huge Tigers fan, but I do like the Dodgers for obvious reasons. I am happy that Magic Johnson owns the team now, as he will bring a lot of excitement and energy back to L.A.
