hes not commenting on luongo's performance, he was talking about that slash, which was pretty wack. why are you even bringing up luongo? he didnt play well, yeah everybody saw. whats your beef with him and vancouver?

boston played well, vancouver had chances but thomas kept boston in the game, i really hope next game isnt a repeat.
 
They just had Thomas talking on NESN, he said that the Nucks had been slashing the butt of his stick all night. He said he wanted to give Burrows a "love tap" to show him that he knew what they were doing and that he wasn't going to let it go on forever. Don't blame Thomas...the nucks are fuckin pussies.

the only thing i can think of is that the nucks are in awe of Thomas (who isn't) and they want to get his magical powers by touching his stick... yea that must be it.

its the same kind of stuff the bruins have been doing to luongo all series, just a taste of his teams own medicine and he couldnt handle it. you saw him in the first, having words with the refs about the little bumps. if they let it go one way its only fair to let it go the other.

regardless thomas played an extremely good game, and is on quite the hot streak. its starting to make me nervous. very very nervous.

I don't seem to remember the Bruins ever slashing luongo's stick out of his hands. Although maybe I just haven't noticed. Any proof or examples?

The Canucks are so frustrated it seems they've started using their tactics on Thomas now... Not only that - they complain about his style of play? Come on, you don't touch the goalie, and when you do you all it does is make the entire other team pissed at you. When someone touches my goalie i go out of the way to fuck their day up. Serious LOL right now...
Thomas hasn't done a single thing wrong in my opinion, aside from making the Canucks miserable.
 
Did it take you until tonight to admit the Canuck's have been diving all over the place? The Sedin's most prominently. We didn't start pulling that shit until tonight. I don't agree with it. I'm guessing it's because everyone got warned about finger taunting so the B's moved on to the next obvious Canuck bullshit.
 
i dont think hes mad about how thomas plays. hes mad that burrows got the penalty when thomas backed in to him outside of the creaseand then boston scored on the ensuing power play (something the canucks really need to do at some point)...
 
And Schmuck, along with most of Vancouver, didn't think the hit on Horton was Rome's fault. Canuck fan's need to review this thread and see when they were calling us out for things we deemed unnecessary that are not nearly as bad as Horton or biting Bergeron.

no no. ive noticed it all year. but ive noticed it everywhere in the league. dont give me its just the canucks shit. what stands out is back in the regular season the canucks capitalized almost everytime they got a call that shouldnt have been causing a huge comotion (sp?) which drew most of the attention to them, and cuz they were first for awhile. but yea. the sedins have never been tough but they need to stop trying to draw penalties and start trying to make good hockey plays, then theyll draw real penalties. i gotta say they looked really good at times tonight though
 
Then he should be talking about the refs, not Thomas. Thomas didn't call the penalty, he played the way he plays and the refs made a pretty bad call

when he was talking about thomas it was because after few plays when he got bumped outside of his crease by backing into someone he got upset with the reffs if i recall correctly
 
one of the greatest things i've ever seen in my entire life. that was no love tap, he put some fucking power behind that one. i don't know, he just looked fucking hilarious doing it. then burrows got buried bu seidenberg. burrows better be careful, you know the heavey hitters are targeting him all day long.

also, @FRODO, i haven't really noticed the B's trying to slap away Luongo's stick, but the fact of the matter is they don't need to. he lets in soft goals, he might as well lose the stick.

Marchand's dirty play makes me laugh. he's incredibly dirty, but as a boston fan it's just hilarious. he flips one of the sedin motherfuckers after dragging down another player and immediately drops his gloves knowing a fight is coming. he is too much.

it's gonna be a hell of a three games. i can't wait til friday, i'm going to go fucking insane. honestly, if the B's win in Vancouver on Friday, they'll win the Cup at home that Sunday. there's just no chance they lose at home, not with the fans, not with Horton down. no chance.
 
Fair enough, but I really don't know what he was trying to accomplish with his talk with the NHL. The refs made one bad goaltender interference call (or maybe it was tripping I forget) so I'm not sure if that one warranted him going out and talking to the NHL about his frustration with how Thomas plays.

But IMO he kind of invalidates himself by using the hit on Sedin as an example when it obviously was legal and occurred inside the crease.
 
this. Does he expect Thomas to let Sedin drop the puck and fire a shot at him from inside the crease? not a chance. I hate to talk like this, but don't be such a pussy.

Goalie retaliating = Fucking awesome... Tim Thomas has a fire that anyone and everyone should appreciate. Yes, even you Canucks fans. I know he's American and is playing against you, but you cant lie when I ask, wouldn't you love Luongo to play and be as fun to watch as that?

The fact that he lost the job last season, regained it back, and has been absolutely lights out through it all only serves to make it all the better. He's Conn Smythe material right now win or lose.

As arguably 'ugly' as this series has been at times, Tim Thomas' play has been so fun to watch... Some say Ryan Miller is the best American goalie.. well... Tim Thomas has something strong to say about that... I think he makes every and all of us Nuck, Yank, Frenchie, Pommy, Ruskie, Czechers.. whatever we are... he makes us proud to be watching hockey. That fire he has out there just makes you stoked to be a fan of this game.

If my Sharks were playing him, I'd still be very impressed. Frustrated to no end as the Canucks have been at times in this series, but impressed and in awe nonetheless.

 
hahahah dude c'mon i know your squad lost and your a little butt hurt about it, but please show me or give me an example of a b's player taking a shot on luongo cause I would love to see it

Thomas is in the heads of the cancucks offense, they are furious that they can't figure this guy out...you can see them questioning themselves because theyre not playing like the best offense in the league like they were this entire season

gotta give the b's defense a lot of credit too especially the PK...theyre doing everything right - getting in shooting/passing lanes, blocking shots, getting to 50/50 pucks and rebounds, and there is a ton of hussle like the ryder play when he backchecked on a vanc offensive chance and lifted the stick beautifully to kill the play
