supervisor at statscan for the 2011 census. work at a home office and boss people around, tell them what to do, train people here and there, and do administrative shit.

all while fucking around on the internets and getting paid very well in the process.

Put adds on craigslist saying that I can cut lawns, paint, pick up / deliver things etc.. Usually get a couple phone calls a week. May do dishwashing / waitering.
 
I may try this craigslist thing, I kayaked with a guy last weekend saying he posted an add to teach people to roll a kayak for 80 bones an hour. He said he got people from Philly with large pockets lining up. I couldn't believe it.

i work for a big landscaper/ landscape materials distributor. i make rich people's gardens look nice and when there's no bathroom available i shit somewhere on their property.

busser at a high-end tequila bar/mexican bistro. it's a pretty sick job. all the girls are pretty. i make close to 7 bucks (i think) plus tips.

A lot of places put them in a pot and distribute between all of the staff every week.

But this place the tips go in the bosses pockets.

It's not just my resteraunt, my friend works in a VERY VERY classy place and the tips go to the bosses pocket, this is in a place where people leave like £30 tips. If you get caught taking your tips you get fired on the spot.
 
I know what you mean, working for a bank is horrible.

I'm an 'economic advisor' and it's pretty shit at times, but it's awesome at times to. A few months ago I got hired as an outside/neutral person to see a deal between Petrobras and the NZ government about oil exploration in the Great South Basin. But because I wasn't a member of parliament, I wasn't allowed to view some of the information, So I did nothing and still collected a paycheck.

Metal Fabricator/ Welder, I build stuff that the Chinese can't mass produce cost effectively. I make shitty pay but I look forward to going to work everyday.
 
i'm an accountant. i'm also a rescue/search and recovery diver on the side...pulled a dead body out of the mississippi river a week or so ago.
 
Fix computers all summer, student rest of the year. Not terrible, the owner's a big musician, and there's a legit studio in the basement.
 
how do you like being an accountant? and what kind of accountant are you (like personal tax returns, for a corporation, auditor etc.)?
