Here's a list of people on the initial ballot (pre-vote list). Just for the sake of transparency; and no, we don't care what you think of the process. There's a first ballot with about 10 of these people on it. And no, none of them are Mattman. After that we'll narrow it down to five, then to (most likely) two.

I think that a novice should be a mod, not a noob but someone whos been here more than 2 years. Just to balance out the 10,000 post mods with the 2,000 ones. It would bring a different aspect to the moderator system.
