NS needs some new Mods!

uhh ya... if thats really the final list I dont know what to say. i didnt know you could join NS like a month ago and be nominated for mod
 
yea, J.D.May said that that isn't the full list, there are other people. but anyone can send in an application to be a mod. those are just people that sent something in. only a few of those will actually become mods.

Haha yeah it didn't help that I sent mine in at midnight on Thursday night while I was doing a chemistry paper, whatever... I'm sure whoever they pick will be a good choice.

The only person I've never seen on that list before is "Wilkesyachtingco" and I searched in the members for that name but nothing came up?

Nope, not necessarily at all two of those five.

For those saying they don't know who people on the list are, that's why we don't let you vote. Everyone on that list is legit, mature, intelligent, responsible (in ns.com terms, anyway), and have someone on the staff who has faith in them. In fact, the fact that you don't know who they are is probably a big selling point in their favour. However, Prophet is also known as Crystal-Needs-A-Park, if that helps.
 
Telling you right now, I'm looking at where the votes are right now, and it could easily be someone not on that list.
 
Just because they all dont have uber bling to rock the top of the list and post "jea" all the time doesnt mean they arent online reading shit.

put i would liek to see mods that are active rather than just reading...like you...you always posts good quality shit and it is worth reading...

personally i would rather have a mod that is like you, than someone who is online just reading
 
John, does Josh want to be a mod? I'd ask him, but I think he's driving back from Hood right now.
 
I just talked to him. He says he's down if it ends up being him. Are you sure he's driving from Hood? Cause I'm supposed to ski with him tomorrow.

Update, by the way; one spot is more or less taken (one guy has twice as many votes as anyone else so it's pretty much a done deal) and one spot is still very much up for grabs with everyone else being really close in votes.
 
Damn...I know. Ive thought of like 3 more ideas to improve the forums that are much better than the ones I put on my application. And I keep thinking how I could have worded stuff better, but whatever...
 
[e]heath is talking out of his ass. He might end up being right, but it wasn't authoritative. Mine was because it was what we were going over in the mod forum. I pretty much just copied and pasted, minus the vote tallies.

If you have other suggestions besides what you put in your letter, just type them up and PM them to one of us or post it in the thread for suggestions, below.
 
well then i'd suggest someone like Sean. or Japanada

sean. is online alot represents a younger population of NS, is active, fully into the NS movement.

Japanada, is from the Midwest US, currently there are NO mods from the Midwest, MN/WI/IL/MI/ETC. are all left so i know there were a few Midwesteners on your intial list if yo are still in consideration, look at location too, and possibly think about it/ look into it, right now it appears that a large % of mods of from the EC US and Ontario areas, some from the west.
 
Not other suggestions for who to mod. Other suggestions for how to improve the site. Like the guy above my earlier post was talking about. We've already dealt with the modding thing. There probably won't be another round for another year or two.
