No Poles cause shin bang?

i go both ways

poles when skiing

no poles when skiing and eating/drinking

but yes cause you lean forward more for speed and balance so yes

why do you lean forward more for speed? poles don't make you go faster?

and how would poles make it easier to balance forward/backwards? don't you hold them at the sides of your body?

I'm not sure about shin bang, but I'm 100% positive not having as much metal on you makes your bases faster. I hear you get more face shots without poles too.

probably not once you get used to riding no poles and can stay forward without them.

but most no polers i see are riding way in the back seat, is it linked to no poles? i have no idea....

The initial point to riding without poles is to center you into your stance...the reason why so many new trenders look shitty riding without poles is they completely screw up their stance by slouching and leaning more forward and flailing their arms...face shots? Power turns with pole plants would give you more of a face shot....

my heels get sore without poles though, having to skate everywhere.

i never go no poles because i am more comfortable on jumps with them, and it doesn't matter on rails but if im hiking a rail id rather have poles so i don't have to hike as high to get speed

REAL LIFE TESTIMONIALS:

"Not using poles has increased the vigor and excitement of that certain something for me, I would recommend it to anyone!"

"I heard about it from a friend, and I'm currently doing it. Its resulted in increased power and performance, if you know what I mean."

"The biggest results happened on the fourth day. It increased everything, I cant believe it!"

Women should not attempt to go no poles. Do not attempt to drop poles without sufficient skill and training. Talk to your doctor if you experience any loss of dexterity in the hands, feet or eyelids. No poles is not recommended for people with low blood pressure, a history of heart disease, psychosis, or douchebagging. Side effects can include looking like a tool, being called emo and flaming on certain ski websites. If you experience any of the above symptoms while attempting no poles, seek out long sharp implements to hold immediately. Do not use in combination with Hellbents and this years Oakley or Sessions, as this can cause issues of mistaken identity and/or becoming an absolute pro ho.

if not holding poles gives you shin bang, or makes you ski leaning more one way than the other or with poles you aren't a very good skier.

lol. funny assholes. yeah my friend just gets really bad boot bang and i wanted to tell her it was probably from riding without poles in that deep virgin snow. she seems like she is always in the back seat.

leaning forward is the only thing that affects it. But i heard it you carry 3-5 pound weights in each hand it never happens
