Japanese night skiing is amazing aswell.

Just googled it and this jumped out at me, "One of the best kept secrets about Japan is the night skiing. Niseko has reputedly the largest lit area in Japan. The locals don't venture out much at night but this is the best time to go riding. "

Gotta figure out a way to swing a Japan trip at some point.

Night skiing finally started last weekend and i havent had more fun doing anything since it ended last season

Night skiing is the shit, some of the best ski memories are back in middle and high school when you'd get out at 2 and head straight to the mountain to shred all night with no worries in the world, really miss those days

The last 2 nights of skiing have been unreal at ski bowl. Thanks pacific nw for the spring pow!

Night skiing starts at Mt. Hood next weekend! I am so stoked! It is so nice to be able to extend the ski session into the night or to sleep in and still get as many runs as I want to.

NS why are you stoked for night riding?

Those open chairs are amazing, and looking at the distant lights of cities at 9pm looks pretty sweet at the top of the runs and on the chairs.

Went to boreal last night for some shredding before finals week. So hyped being able to go after class midweek and have that option to ski when I usually wouldn't be able to.

night skiing is always dope, especially with friends. i'm always too tired to do anything serious but its a great time.

i can't wait for winter break.

I've really appreciated having night skiing at grouse. Nothing more relaxing than going and skiing some rails in an empty park after a few hours of studying.

brighton's night skiing starts on the 15th. gonna be sikk as always

Stoked to do lots of it whenever I have work during the day, home mountain is open til 9, 6 days a week and its always empty and super fun.

Nighttime park laps at Louie were a blast this year, sadly its probably coming to an end soon enough, can't beat that night pass price either!

Being from the midwest i just don't get the whole night skiing thing. I grew up with skiing at night being the almost the only kind of skiing i did.

I feel like a bad east coaster, but I actually hate night Skiing.

Unless its just carving the fuck out of shitty runs after too many beers. That is tight.

You're not though youre just honest. Just something we gotta deal with, It is the worst, the day skiing eventually becomes terrible, we just deal with the night skiing cause school n work and shit. Only day skiing I got was at big white, i fucking loved it.

I live in the midwest so night skiing is very common, I always go at nightime because I never have time in the day, we always go on fridays right after school or we leave school early.

I mean that sounds tight AF.

Over here on the east night Skiing usually just means it's icy as fuck.

Tis' the season! Stayed after sunset last night. Skibowl is opening the lower bowl today. Get it on after dark!!!

I miss it. The first few times I rode real parks were riding under the lights. In 2001 the local hill put in night skiing. I was there almost everyday after school, many times riding by myself, and on weekend riding from opening till close. Mom would make me a bunch of pbj sandwiches and I'd ride all day/night. Worked at a mountain that was primarily night skiing 08-11.

Idk, something about it. The cold chill, the vibes, the weird shadows, the cold lift rides, even the slabs of ice. There's a sort of magic about it. Some sort of wild energy conjured up from snow guns and brutally cold temps.

I have as fond memories riding some of the sketchiest ice sheets at night as I do of some of my best powder days. The same way people get stoked to hit a backyard setup or the opening weekend white ribbon of death. You're just happy to be mobbin around on snow with the squad regardless of the snow quality.

Because my hill actually serves up night skiing.

The first 5 years I skiied it was like 70% at night. I remember my first season away from home thinking it was strange I was only shredding in daylight.

Night skiing tonight at Whitefish. Wish there was a better park but oh well. I’ll spend most of my time bombing down groomers and working on skiing switch.

It's not always super fun to ski at night, but the vibes are different and just super nice, especially when it's snowing.

Some night content I made last season. Night Shred is on soon!

I love nightskiing but at my midwest hill the snow is always super beat up and icy and they don’t bother grooming it again after the sun sets... so... kinda takes the fun out of it

My new home mountain doesn’t have it. Had it at two other places and certainly miss it. Usually empty and both places has solid parks which would be great to lap with the homies. Wish Killington did something like SR and do it on weekends mid season.

night skiing has always been my fav. easy on the eyes and beautiful, reminds me of ski club after school when i was younger. now that i’m older i appreciate that it’s easy to drink on the lift at night without being spotted. n night skiing on your own is like date night with the mountain, throw on some good music and get busy.
