Night Skiing Stoke

Grew up night skiing midweek after school, now have made it a part of my life again going night skiing midweek after work. Living in Vancouver I feel super lucky having 3 mountains open till 10pm within a half hour of downtown.

Something about having the mountain to yourself and your friends - less pressure so much more chill. And like a bunch of people have mentioned night storm riding just feels extra special. Maybe I'll go up tonight.

Storm skiing at night is the best, no flat light issues, not the big crowds especially the last 2-3 hours when the snows piling up and the visibility is garanteed.

Colorado could really use some Night skiing. I personally love it.

I honestly don't know why the mountains just don't wait and open at 10-11 am and stay open until at least 5.

Colorados 9-4 system is trash.

Nothing like finishing work on a Monday and not dreading the week ahead because you're too busy gettin that shred. Got my clear lenses this year and night skiing is forever changed.

[tag=264939]@OCoffey[/tag] Ski Bowl has the best night skiing in Oregon. They claim to have the most night skiing terrain in the country. Come up and ski some laps this winter and check it out

I’ll definitely try to make it up during xmas or something. Haven’t been there in a solid minute

bump, I know some of you are already making your night moves

it’s about to get rolling around here

Awwh yeah... been riding woodward, but really looking forward to using all my brighton ikon on after work night riding, $15 ladies nights on Wednesday at Powder Mountain, and a night at Sundance sprinkled in.

Season before last, we used to mob up for fuckin crazy Chinese downhill snowskate races every Thursday night at 8pm at Keystone.

Idk how people don't like nightriding. I freaking love it. Ya ever caught a dumping storm nightriding? Those nights are so sick. Even the real icy nights, the runs ride like fresh asphalt.

HuckNorris is creating what seems to be an epic night park at Magic Mtn in So. Vermont, legendary if true

I think what we really need for night ops are riding with sweet airsoft guns and NVGs. Tactischoolers.

Hell yeah dude! Gonna go for some night laps on my bday tomorrow and there's 10cm forecasted to make it nice and soft - can't think of much better.

It’s crazy how much cheaper night skiing is. For example at mt hood meadows it’s like 90$ for me to ski from 9-4 but 30$ to ski from 2-9. That’s the same amount of time, yet 60$ cheaper. Night skiing=less money

And great visibility and fewer people

I've only night skied once but my local starts night skiing on the 18th, so stoked since I'll hopefully be able to get some laps in during the weeks now with school being online

Same guys... my mountain still hasn't got any snow and its not cold enough to blow snow :( #eastcoastlife

My mountain is functioning off of the snow they blew a month ago. I feel the east coast struggles man. Ima keep skiing the skinny ice runs

Any of you guys night ski with a headlamp? Started night skiing way more with a headlamp this year and it is so fun to be able to wander deep into the trees and still be able ski in the dark, gets intense going fast in the trees too.

No but what's good one to get , any super bright ones?

I have done that. When I used to do night laps of the alpine trial to gvcp. Get a super bright one and definitely figure out your mounting setup!!!

You don't even need a headlamp, there is enough light through the tree's.

Brighton has been one of the GOATs of night skiing for a while now. But this year they put new lights up and added the snake creek quad to the night skiing map. Stoked to get up there this year

The skibowl nightskiing is hardcore!

Theres an entire upper bowl of double blacks.

Ironically, it's easier to see the run at night than it is in the flat light of the day.

How’s the new schooler scene up there? I’d love to find some ripppers. Meadows just had lil park rats and dads

I feel like there are usually some people at Timberline at Skibowl that are on here. I've met up with people to ski bowl with through the regionals threads. Only at Skibowl is the rope tow park so pretty much a rail park. Timberline has Thunder park lit up right now an it has a few boxes and rails and 2 jumps that are lit up
