The title may be misleading but i loved nicks new edit. I love his no poles swag with the butters and the simple tricks one would see in a B&E edit (first part of the edit.)

Just wondering if u guys though it was cool he was bringing something new to his game. After watching this and his backyard edit he seems like the kind of guy who would be on TC. PLEASE DONT HATE LIKE THAT NICK GEOPER TRYING TO BE STEPT THREAD. I'm giving Geopper props for bringing a new style in this edit.
 
Idk tbh i preferred his robot style in the downtofilm paradise edit, to me this seemed really forced and i think he should stick to his tech tricks
 
I have never seen good skiing look worse. He needs to stop trying so hard. Just dropping poles does not make tricks look better. Also a red bull helmet and no poles is a sign of the apocalypse
 
I feel like everyone would be drooling over him like they do Henrik if he wore 5xl clothing too. Thats really the only difference I see in him and others. those tricks were sick and nick kills it.
 
wearing big clothing makes it so much easier to have good style. With skinny shit you have to have perfect body control to look good.

I really dont know how people hate on him so much, he is clearly amazing at skiing
 
I honestly like Goepper more with two poles and doing switch dubs better then trying to do some quirky little jib tricks like in B&E.

Branching out is definitely cool, but you may as well stick to doing what you're best at
 
Why doesn't me wear stuff larger then like a medium? Don't get me wrong he is one of the sickest skiers in the world. And definitely one of the best. I just think his style needs to be a little better
 
no. just no. i mean the dude gets way too much hate and he is a good skier but henrik is just henrik. i cant even explain it but his riding is just different
 
one guy skis with out poles and does butters and every one thinks he's tying to be B&E..........
 
This. Like go to my mountain trying to do the shit B&E pull off and I fail and look like a fool.
 
hahahahahah yeah pretty much, sorry he can be the best skier in the world but that was just not for me, stick to winning comps please
 
Not using poles made his already awkward arms seem even more forced and odd all over the place. although i must say that butter cork was sexy. maybe he just needs to be grabbing something
 
This except not Henrik because you can't compare Henrik, his style is just too unique. If he wore baggy clothes he would be just like a Tom Wallisch, or any other stylish skier today based solely on this edit and everybody would be on his nuts. inb4 shitstorm
 
I feel like everyone hating on Geopper just assumes that because it's Geopper the edit sucks. And like people have said, just because you do more creative tricks does not mean you want to be like B&E. It doesn't really even make sense that Geopper gets so much hate because he has a shittier style and wins a ton of comps.
 
flailing around?really? the only time his hands are flailing is on his 4on, one foot and dub swap 2out. which is pretty much normal since almost every pro will flail when trying those tricks
 
no, that could not be farther from the truth. Look how smooth B and E are with all there butter and more style based tricks. Then look at Nick in this new edit, he's trying to do the same sorts of tricks but is not anywhere close to the same smoothness that B and E would have doing the same tricks.

Personally I really liked Nicks style in his early season edit from Key and his edit last season, "paradise". But this "new" style of his is forced and ugly and nowhere near B and E.
 
He's just experimenting with different aspects of style, why hate on him? That edit was sick I love how he's trying different stuff.
 
Ya'll complain that he's too robotic then the second he puts out something thats a bit different then what he usually does, he's trying too hard.

The kid just cant satisfy anyone apparently.
 
That edit was sick! You just like to hate on Goepper. If he's doing tech tricks: "omg so ghey, he haz robot style!" If he's trying something new and to bring more style and creativity to his skiing: "omg lyk he fakes b&e! that was so ghey he doeznt even wear xxxxxxxl!"

Just because someone butters, rides with no poles or does grabs on rails, he doesn't try to fake B&E. Of course, he got inspiration from there, but why do you think their name is Inspired? Would anyone of the Inspired crew be upset about this edit? No! They would like it because a comp skier "who does it only for the money" has fun skiing and puts an edit that shows it out.

 
B&E made some of the tricks Nick was doing popular, but I would like to remind all the children that people did many of those tricks way before Henrick and Phli.

Tricks and style are two different things and its hard to fathom that people dont understand that. Doing a nose butter is a trick that was done 10 plus years ago, and I guess I might as well make a post "B&E copying Eric Pollard". For that matter the whole no poles thing is more or less an old school Pollard thing to.

Nick going to poles, tight jacket and skiing like he is in this edit give me hope more then anything. Doing what he wants to do, and having fun is the basis of our type of skiing. No rules right guys?

Let me also remind you that he could have "dressed up" with a 5 XL Jibbershit Hoddie, had his pants past his ass, hunched over, no helmet and it would be considered "cool".

Now the real question is why the fuck is Mount Snow so gay? Maybe hook some local kids up harder then sponsoring someone that lives 3,000 miles away? I kinda understand they want to say, "we sponsor a rider that won the X Games" but that marketing ploy works for a second, or maybe two if they are lucky. I guess having a person in marketing that has not idea whats happening in skiing is a more then common thing.
 
clearly mount snow is not after little money made from season passes, they want money weekend warriors whose parents want their child in the x games. the weekend warrior market does not know jack shit about "the scene" and will throw money at anything painted with redbull and and xgames gold medal to go along. its sad but its true. more red bull and x games=more 90$ day passes sold.

that is why mount snow is so gay
