NHL Playoff Predictions!

You Flyers fans should be giving Esche a HUGEEEEEE collective thanks.

He was a wall. The sabres dominated that game through and through, aside from 2 lapses where they missed coverage of key players and let them alone in front.

Without good Philly goal-tending, that game woulda been a massacre. Philly looked so flat, and the only line that showd any hope was the Forsberg line.

Oh, and Campbell's hit on Umberger was one of the best open ice hits i've seen in the game, ever. Despite the press reports, I find it hard to believe he is truly good to go. He was so out of it whie he was laying there on the ice.
 
Hahahahaha... "good to go"?! If RJ Umberger plays in game 2 he's going to have to keep checking the back of his sweater to remember what his name is... He got hit into a different area code. By someone half his size, no less.
 
God, the Oilers are boring to watch. If you have to play like that to win, what's the point of even being in the playoffs. Way to make the sport look awful.

Wtf are you saying dude, tampa was about to win thanks to graham before ottawa got a few past him. seriously graham was having an amazing game, a shame that no one on his team could help him out.

Im still pissed that philly lost last night....Anyone see that high stick from knuble to get the puck in the net? still thought it was pretty sick.

as i was driving home from the game last night.

out of knowwhere i see these two cars compiled into one.

and then i catch the drivers speaking to eachother outside of the cars, with the POPO there already, and to my suprise one of the drivers with a bunch of his buddies in one of the cars was someone i served alcohol repeatitvly too throughout the game!

im a BASTARD and let that IDIOT get too drunk ahaha
 
holy shit the Flyers are gettin there asses handed to them tonight. the goalie faces 10 shots in the 1st period and saves 5 of them so its 5-0 Buffalo
 
Dear Mr. hitchcock and the whole Philadelphia Flyers organization,

First off, I would like to thank you guys for proving a point to the whole entire hockey nation. You took a perfectly clean hit, that was perhaps one of the better open ice hits ever, and got all bent out of shape about it. And you're response is to be cheap and dirty? Oh but I forgot. It is the Sabres and their fans that are classless.

You guys going for the intimidation route? If so, it's not going to work. I think our goals, and the prospect of sweeping your hack of a team under the rug and off the face of the 2006 playoffs is far more intimidating.

Afterall, goals mean more than PIM's.

And Mr Hitchcock, I AGAIN want to thank you for reaffirming that you're organization lacks any sort of pride or class. You and your whole organization are the laughing stock of the NHL right now. Not too certain how a team like yours managed to finish the season in 5th place. But it is incredibly clear that you and yor team dn't belong in the post-season.

They are classless. look at comments Hitchcock has said. His team was taking cheap shots every which way because they aren't skilled enough to keep up with a high speed, high talent team.

Why did Philly players feel the need to run at Campbell? For making a clean, amazing open ice hit on a player? It's not like he was head hunting like Mr Brashear does.

They are sore losers. And their actions were very classless at best. Perhaps THEY aren't. but their actions are.
 
And don't even get me started n Gauthiers intentional blatently ILLEGAL hit/cheap shot on Vanek.
 
Gauthier should be suspended for the season and the beginning of next. That was garbage. There's no place or time for that.
 
i wanna say red wings, but they always fuck it up somehow. the series is 1-1 goin back to edmonton, and it feels like another first round exit. i'm all about the pistons anyways
