New PC Setups......

Is there really going to be a ribbon cutting? I would like to get my hand on a pair of giant scissors someday.
 
I have heard the following: 5 jumps. THe last one is behind where the last one was last year. And the last two are 45 - 50. Just what I heard though.
 
step ups overs table step downs???details details details!god i hope they are step overs and on big step up would be so fresh
 
It was kinda hard to tell from the lift. But it looked like the last one was closer to true table and the 2nd to last one (last one last season) was a step down. No idea on the others. I didn't think they looked 45' but once again its hard to judge from the lift. Either way its going to be sick for sure!
 
they didn't appear too big when i was looking at them from the chair today. They looked like they still needed a decent amount of cat time so hopefully they will get a little larger. still can't complain, looks like a ton of fun
 
i wish i could be up there today, i hate school. dropping out of high school for skiing is in consideration. tell me HOW GRAND IT IS!?
 
pretty amazing set ups, the only thing that bothered me was the kink in the 2nd lip all the way on the right..

and some stupid people who don't know how to ride through the park...aka people stopping and standing on the lip of the down rail before the jump line, people not looking uphill to see if anyone is hitting the down rail before dropping into the jump line, and people not looking uphill after standing on a knuckle of a jump/going down the landing!

really frustrating when one of these happened to me every run, legitimately almost landed on a snowboarder on the 4th jump. kid didn't even realize what he did was wrong.
 
i saw that happen, seriously people need to just flow through the park. Once you start the jump line there is NO STOPPING.
 
Yeah it is not difficult at all to carry enough speed into any of the jumps. You have to shed so much speed going into the last jump that it could be twice as big. . . which would be awesome because people would be above the lift line.
 
So much fun ! You guys are killing it. It would be sick to maybe take out one of the first jumps and build up the step up ?
Everything is so legit tho. Nice work
 
PC is so sick right now. Those are such fun jumps and the wale tail flat down flat down is the funnest thing ever but quite challenging.
 
now i agree, last jump seemed sooooo much smaller today too. that was the best one yesterday! kink the in the 2nd lip wasn't fixed.

but oh well i still had fun, stoked to see what it's like in a week when i get back.
 
My only small wishes are the following: 2nd jump could be a a bit poppier, 3rd jump could be a bit bigger, 5th jump could be a little bigger, and everything else should stay exactly how it is!
 
Steeper landing on the 4th. It got real flat. 5th jump needs to go back to how it was opening day of Pick. That jump was awesome.
 
Last jump was perfect today! I love the flow of Pick except when mass quantities of people stand on the down rail before the jumps.... I must ask why? Yesterday a snowboarder was sitting completely clueless on the rail resting his legs, ruining my fun flowing run... almost let him have it but decided to just let it go. I understand stopping to re-group or to visualize your plan of attack, but to stand on the lip of the jump for the rail is plain stupid, I don't understand how people are so inconsiderately in the way without realizing what the FUCK they are doing.... end of rant...
My next thought, is PC gonna add any features to lower Jonesy's like last year? Those boxes and rails were super fun, I'm hoping they add some more sick stuff over there soon!
 
unfortunatly im home over break... so would someone like to tell me about these jumps? i know there are 5 wich is nasty but how big/what style jumps are they??
 
All of these are estimates, correct me if I'm wrong.

1st - step-over 15-20 ft

2nd - normalish 25ft

3rd - step-over 25ish ft

4th - normal 40ish ft

5th - step-over 30ish ft

I might have mixed up which ones are step-overs, there are a lot, I like it.
 
yes it is haha.and its not bad we got like 15 inches of snow haha but no vert to ride and no jumps as of yet!who the fuck are you? hahahah
 
Rode up on the lift with one of the park crew guys today. While we were going up someone announced over his walkie takie thing that they were going to start blowing snow for Kings tonight! SO STOKED! He also said they are going to have another park area on king kong ridge...
