FD makes sick stuff so props for that. They also have more money and skill then me, and can fly a plane, so props for that stuff too. Only thing i'm really not cool with is radomly shooting out the Subie's window and blasting street signs. I pray they were using blanks. Guns aren't toys and for sure are nothing to joke about.

Anyone over the age of 25 realizes that this was at least 90% of the skiing/snowboarding videos that were the beginning of the "newschool" or "freestyle". Ever heard of a little film company called Absinthe? Or maybe the videos that started with TB1, TB2, TB3, etc.? The FD edit was Nickelodeon shit compared to those videos. I loved this edit.

Oh, and for the quality? I wore my FD Wear the last 3 days at Big Sky, in some of heaviest and wettest snow I've ever been in. I stayed perfectly dry and perfectly warm.

I would think this video was funny and a joke except for the flying and blatant retarded driving. Closed roads are one thing, almost having a head on with that subaru who stopped because they were being dumb asses is another.

As someone who has their PPL and pursuing aviation as a career, it seems pretty dumb to give the impression of being irresponsible while flying (i.e. even though this was edited and clearly not shot in a day I wouldn't want to risk the FAA coming after my ass claiming I was drinking before flying). In and of itself, it seems like the pilot was competent and skilled, however it's pretty surprising he would be willing to have an edit like this on the web.

If I was an investor who put in money to get FD off the ground I'd be pretty pissed right now
 
That was absolutely horrendous. The values portrayed are exactly the opposite of what I wish to align myself with. The gun really stands out - flaunting unsafe gun control, shooting out of a moving vehicle without knowing what is behind the "target," holding the gun sideways, the list goes on. Unsafe driving practices, a general attitude of cockiness and douchebaggery...I'll pass on all First Drop products and encourage others to do the same.

yeah didn't realize it before but the are they're blindly shooting into is used for XC and snowshoeing in the winter, they could've actually shot someone pretty easy.

I've been annoyed as anyone by fd's antics over the last couple years, and I'm not a fan of their gear on any level, but what the fuck.

That edit was ridiculously entertaining, and straight up silly. If you didn't laugh or shake your head in disbelief when Lesh, plus grill, was letting rounds go out the window of a moving car....while driving...while mugging the camera, well, you're a really, really serious person.

I thought it came across as a satire of the brand's reputation, like a confirmation of everyone's worst "fears" or an amalgamation of every negative skier stereotype ever created. I thought it was surprisingly self-aware, cheeky as fuck, and just well done and a perfect response to the general attitude many have towards fd.

Yeah, some people have pointed out that it reeks of "trying", and I get that, but we're talking about a for-profit company, not an individual who has no intrinsic motivation for notoriety other than low self-esteem or ego.

Everyone needs to take a deep breath, take it down a notch, and stop acting so offended by anything and everything. A lot of you are coming across as totally pretentious and like the fucking PC police. If you think the edit was stupid, corny, etc., fine but all the hyperbole about "how unprofessional" and mentioning investors, and other nonsense about "business models" and shit just needs to quit.

This is an example of NS turning into a 24 hour news network where everything is gotcha, and outrage over bs.
