what is the name of that edit again? it soooo sick

oh and i didnt care for the FD edit at all really. i thought the gangst parts where funny but the skiing was just ghey and those suits look so stupid (mostly the way they fit not the colors). FD has to be the least gangst outerwear company out there sooo....

My theory is that it was the loss of Freeze magazine that caused this.

People seem to have totally forgotten that we used to have super raw, core, don't-give-a-fuck, stupid roots. I mean shit... the whole reason this movement happened is we claimend that the sport was too stuck up and boring.

Freeze was absolutely 100% silly and stupid all the time. However, it was fun and covered a certain aspect that we were all missing - that totally wild punk deep within us.

I mean look at the old whiskey videos in skate and snow. That shit was retarded, and it was the reason that HALF of the people that ski quit for snowboarding. How could people forget Boozy the Clown?

I mean fuck... that was what MADE skateboarding and snowboarding. We all were sitting there racing, doing aerials and trying to be level 4 ski instructors with the perfect turns.... and we realized what we were doing was fucking lame.

I get satire and I liked the edit besides reckless endangerment. I don't think the joke is worth the danger of their activities.

I wasn't comparing FD to anyone. Telling the people in the forum to lighten up and stop riding everyone's balls about everything.

Edit was ridiculous, you guys tried way too hard. Take out the guns, the naked bitches, the club, the stupid car drifting, pretty much the rest of the stupid bullshit and it wouldve been 1000 times better. It was a good idea but you guys really should have made that edit about 4 minutes.
 
well and as I said on the last page, the portion when they're shooting right before they shoot the speed sign is all XC and snowshoeing terrain. They could've easily shot someone, highly unlikely but still probable.
 
not sure why so much hate on the FD boys. they are just being themselves. its not a fucking crime. you either like the edit or you dont. if you dont, suck it the fuck up and watch something else.

anyone who says this edit is a failure is just feeding the hype, look at what page we are on, it caused a lot of talk because its off beat and different. exactly what FD is trying to be. If you want to be all the same just go buy your black spyder suit. ever listened to Wu-tang? they say a lot of shit i probably don't see myself being a part of, also i don't see myself rolling around shooting guns, but ya know what, fuck it, i thought it was cool, i liked the edit. FD for life, keeping our side of skiing from becoming bland.
 
I love how people shit on this, but then jizz their pants over 4bi9, who, in their edits, straight up call themselves black, do kratom, show pictures of guns and weed, and wear the same oversized thug getups.

Double standard? I personally love both, but c'mon people, all these kinds of edits just provide a type of satirical/fantastical park rat narrative which we all (whether we admit it or not) live vicariously through. Everyone and every crew likes to think that when they show up at their hill they are the biggest bad asses around.

I think there is a difference between going out and having fun, and whipping around on an open public road, blindly shooting out the window, and driving recklessly enough to cause other drivers to slow down and pull over. Non the less portraying drinking and driving as your marketing campaign.

Sorry, I guess actually having seen GSW's has given me a lack of perspective when it comes to gun safety.

What is going to happen, is people will watch this, and associate the antics with those who ski in the park, and wear bright and or baggy clothing. Sweet. Only get one chance to make a first impression and these fuck twats just went and made it for thousands of park skiers, your customers.

And based on the amount of stock in that warehouse, customers is exactly what First Drop and David Lesh need. I wonder how much FD and 9th ward have in common when it comes to being held afloat by the parents wealth.
 
DUDE OMG, I watched this movie with George Clooney and he robbed a casino! CANT BELIEVE HE WOULD PUT THAT ON SCREEN! he is promoting and portraying robbing a casino as cool! WTF MAN! What a terrible marketing campaign. how could anyone hire him for another film again!

 
I think that you will either agree, or possess the intelligence of one of our now extinct distant cousins, that when people go watch a movie in a theater, or rent the dvd, they might hold slightly different expectations, than when they watch an edit like this. I also suppose that in movies featuring George Clooney, before the film driving stunts, they get a permit for the road and close it. Similar to when they film people shooting guns, which my guess is are loaded with blanks, not live rounds.

That's like me saying "take out the partying, the drinking, and the other random bullshit clips that makes 4bi9 House stupid. The episodes would be 1000 times better with just skiing." The new edit is 6 minutes long with 2 and a half minutes of skiing. How does all of this information make you feel? You fucking hypocrite.
