I will gladly put my opinion on here that you make the worst arguments that I have seen on NS in at least a couple weeks. Sorry bud.
The whole point of the forums on this site is to discuss opinions on subjects and see what others think. Then you can explain your reasoning on your opinion in backup, and then be at peace because you understand some other point of view. You aren't doing this though... Why would somebody care more about your opinion than someone else's who has provided complete support for their opinion? Ben gave his input, including props on Brogan's style in the air.
+1 on thinking it's stupid to use the "you can't do it so shut the hell up" mentality. If you stand by this still then you should read the numerous examples...
As for the edit, it was sick to watch, too short, and the rideaway isn't as forced looking as I have seen it before. I think he could work on making it flow from his actual landing a bit better, but whatever. I only really care about his steeze in the air, which was amazing.

that was shitty, his tricks look pretty good while in the air but when he lands he looks like a fucking retard. i know plenty of kids with just as good if not better style, better tricks, yet dont look like the biggest wangster tool ive ever seen.

i've been reading all this and laughing, i don't even think anyone's been hating for a minute. but there wasn't too much hate to begin with, for me i was just mostly dissapointed. i enjoy watching young jonathon ski and was mostly just let down by this one, especially after the tease edit which had some fireeee rail tricks. i just feel like i've seen this same edit before...i don't know. plus tindys are dumb. that is all.

MOst of the stuff i have read on this thread is all negative. i dont have a problem with that. its ur oppinion. 
but for me....he is the most consistant freestyle skier out there. he hardly messes any thing up. afterbang=ridiculously good, positive attitude, and like to do what he is doing. i mean there are so many things out there in the trick world to critisize. y critisize a person tho? u wouldnt like to read crap about yourslef and how every one is dislikeing that one person. i find it just hilarious why people whould "HATE" on another. jealousy? if u have an opinion, say it nicely. not in some rude obnoxious way...my opinon-he's great person. knows what he has to do. and is consistant with all his tricks. and soo what if he only has 58 seconds of film. what ever! no biggy! whats it matter? just let him be himself. BTW ,many people are trying to copy his style. where do u thinnk afterbang came from? t-wal? ok maybe. but still. he influenced soo many riders to be like him in style and form. be kool. watch what u say and how it comes out...

After watching this edit a few more times I've decided it sucks and with so many kids pushing the sport these days it probably couldn't even work as a promo. THUG AND AFTERBANG DOES NOT MAKE YOU A BETTER SKIER.

You're sort of being a condescending prick about it, but I agree with the gist of what you're saying.
It's not as if Brogan is claiming that this is the most amazing edit to ever grace the pages of NS. In fact, he doesn't make any claims about it's value. He's just skiing, filming, and having fun. Clearly, the kid has some fans (I'm one of 'em) who are feeling his style, and enjoy watching him ski. If you (the proverbial "you", not the guy I'm quoting) don't like it, that's a ok, but why be sooo venomous in condemning it? Rate that shit a 4 or 5, leave a comment along the lines of "repetitive", "no unnatty", "I think TIndys blow dick", or "Too much bang" and keep it moving. Cut him a break.

It's possible to have a valid and informed opinion about the quality of someone's skiing without necessarily being able to ski at a comparably high level. Granted, many of the debates around skiing are of a subjective nature, if a person offers an intelligent and coherent explanation for their opinion, it's officially valid - whether that person can fucking sw dub 12 or not. Please, stop with the bullshit. If only those "as good as" were worthy of an opinion, there'd be 50ish members on this site with very little to talk about.
Last thing.
What's with this notion that Brogan hasn't progressed, and even worse yet, that for some reason he "has to" progress? Several people have ranted about how his tricks are stagnant and they seem really pissed about it. To my knowledge, Brogan has roughly 2:45 worth of shots this year (This edit, tease edit, and ignancy v.2). How the fuck can people infer from that little bit of footy that the kid hasn't learned any tricks? What bothers me even more, is that even if he hasn't added any huge new tricks to his arsenal...who the fuck cares? Not everyone is a freak show like Wallisch and learns a new trick daily.

i completely agree with what you said, my condescending prickness included. although, hear me out, i'm laying in bed one day after ACL/meniscus surgery and am butt-hurt that people are hating on each other when we're all out there for the same exact reason (and began to question that if the pain and bullshit i'm dealing with is worth it to get back on the slopes with a bunch of people that act like this sport has a fixed set or rules and is a fashion show - when it's supposed to be neither of the aforementioned and 100% fun).
if people don't like a person's style or attitude - tight pants or thugery, nobody deserves to have 5 pages of being called out. we're all skiers out there for the exact same reason.
