the afterbang in this edit wasnt even ridiculous tho. not tom warnick afterbang status or anything. it was a good edit with styly as fuck tricks.
 
Dude. THANK YOU! Claiming someone can't comment on someone elses style simply because they can't do those tricks is the most absurd argument going on in this thread. I applaud you for calling out this asshat.

Brogan puts this shit online, open for criticism, and at the very least should expect these kinds of responses. He should have no problem if people don't like his style.... If he's phased for one second because of this thread I'd be extremely surprised.

Please see my previous post regarding HATE vs. OPINIONS. The only HATE I'm reading in this thread is hate towards people who aren't into his style. That is all.
 
exactly. if he wants to ride away like that, by all means do it. im just throwing out there that he looks dumb as shit when he lands. he has GREAT style in the air. im not arguing there. i just HATE his rideaway. wallisch doesnt even really bang anymore, he just lands smooth. brogan here lands and then swings his body around like fucking gumby. its stupid IMO
 
your taking him to seriously man. Let him ski as he wishes. I do understand your point though. Why would you ever come off angry after seeing someone ski.
On another note, it would be cool to see something different. Thats why i always get stoked on traveling circus, i find it a bit different. I'm not sure how much that arguement holds though, a lot of people are doing hippy killers and shit like that. I want something new. I still liked the edit a lot though, the 50-50 180 off was nice and the style is there.

dude thats not really part of the trick anyway thats just skiing. I dont know him personally but I saw him ski a lot this season and he does shit like that all the time without any cameras. He also skis switch more than anybody I've ever seen
 
I love how all of you are judging someone by watching them in a 58 second video. Unless you ski side by side with Brogan, how the fuck do you know what tricks he can and can't do. Give the kid a fucking break. His style is ill, and his tricks are smooth. So unless you all can post up edits of yourselves doing the same styley tricks, then shut the fuck up, submit your own superunknown application, and get of the kid's case. He's just out there doing the same exact thing that we all love to do.
 
and in my opinion it looks dumb doing that "rideaway" or whatever. what does it matter if cameras are there or not... by not filming it it doesnt look dumb?
 
Kids got STYLE.... anyone who cant see that is fucking retarted. yea he isnt doing banger tricks, but doing the tricks he did, 9, 5, cab sev, ect. that smooth is soo hard. props on that, thought it was dope.

word. Laurent always had that balance of swagger and realness down to a fine art. Its too bad there hasnt been any segments from him in the last few years.(none that im aware of atleast, If anyone has any recent shit post it)
 
haha exactly i hate that argument it means absolutely nothingi mean there were some decent tricks (it looked like there was a truck driver which is dope)but nothing really popped out or made me surprised it just lacked the "wow" of say martini's breck edit or even slumdog illionaire and i know he's in school and wants to keep some stuff secret or whatever but 56 seconds is way too short
 
i dont see rideaway on either of them. i see them land. gus lands backseat all the time and does the ass rubbing the ground rideout. if he was trying to "rideaway" hed have to pop up like a boner. and martini? dont see it there either
 
Well, now you've substituted the word "dumb" for the word "forced" so you lose by default. If you don't like it thats fine, nobody really cares what 'that Ben. fag' thinks anyway. My original point was: just because he isn't skiing a straight line in a racer stance doesn't mean its forced, its what he does and he does it easily and under control.
 
brogan has some sick style but i think seany j should be pro over brogan. He has the same sick style with better tricks (the nine was rediculous tho)
 
Also, just to throw this out there...level1 is a film company that doesn't like to showcase big spins. They're into smoothe stylish stomped and slow-rotated spins, usually nothing more than a 7. (if you don't believe this fact watch turbo with commentary). But anyway, I bet you all that after level1's new movie, the haters will suddenly act like they never hated on him.

I dont enjoy it because i've seen the same fucking edit on here 400000 times this winter.
