Every day I log onto Newschoolers and tell my cool friends about how absolute CRINGE these instagram skiers are.
I spend hours a day combing instagram reels to pick out a couple of 6 second clips that I can shit on. My eyes are bloodshot, I have no more adderall left, my heart rate is bordering medical emergency levels, but it’s always worth the thumbs up my good friends on Newschoolers give me.
I have spent the last 7 weeks trying to hack these uncool skiers instagram pages, but alas, I have no luck. I know what would be best for the industry, and these guys sponsored by jerry brands simply don’t get it. They don’t know what the skiers want. Sure, thousands of people who might never have gave skiing a second thought might be interested now - BUT THEY ARENT COOL PEOPLE!!!
We’re the only ones that understand acting like we are gang members in a historically privileged sport is what brings outsiders in. I once sold a guy an eighth of weed on the lift in Colorado (yea it’s legal here, but still).
If you aren’t core this is probably all gonna fly over your head, and that’s okay. Catch ya on the mountain, brotha (I’m easy to find, I only wear all blue or all red if you catch my drift)
