you can't really sell them on ns because the majority of the clients who might buy it at 15 years old, and don't have a stable income. but it doesn't mean you can't find people who might be interested because not everyone is cheap and running on daddy's wallet. some people here might actually want something unique or different, and are willing to pay for it.
that being said. all of the online canadian shops are more expensive than buying in store because i have to pay shipping unless it's over 100$. in canada it's generally 23$-29$ for shirts from american apparel, and then dc,element, hurley, split, blah blah, whatever because they're mass produced, probably in sweatshops and they sell to more people.(a lot of average joes too)
meanwhile, companies like nomis, nikita, nixon, wesc, vans, etc more reputable and niche oriented brands sell for a minimum or 35$ a shirt and up. which are likely also sweatshop mass produced, but generally offer more unique detailing than the other companies. these companies are willing to put a price on their garments and they make money just as easily because they are saying, we want you specifically to buy this, and not those other people. and the people willing to spend it and generally very happy.
where as shopping at places like karmaloop and dogfunk are better for americans because shit goes on sale ten times faster than in stores, and they offer you free shipping, and even for me, with shipping, generally i'll end up saving at least 20$ on the item's regular store price without taxes.
but really, can i ask you how much time you've spent in the fashion industry and marketing, and time online shopping in general to validate how much more you actually know about this than me?
you can argue all you want about how cheap americans are, but it still doesn't mean shit.
