Plus you just sell it back to dealership and make up a massive chunk of what you paid, you wind up paying like 1/2 the price of the car and can continue to drive new and nice models. I get owning shit is cool but idgaf about cars they’re a utility in my eyes doesn’t matter who owns it as long I can afford it then whatever

It sounds like you're talking about leasing, which is basically the equivalent of apartment rent in terms of value.
14524906:Farmville420 said:I specifically said leasing is stupid, I’m talking about auto loans, and yeah selling 3rd party gets you more money but it’s also work and effort. Also fleecing dealerships is super easy they don’t inspect cars at all lol

14524400:BradFiAusNzCoCa said:That is not true at all. I’m from the south.
You’re really going to base these opinions on the south from your time in a city that has SAVANNAH COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN? That’s like artsy kid central.

14532948:Casey said:Kind of depends I guess. I mean if you can’t afford the vehicle or the payment then don’t do it, I was mainly just thinking about how expensive trucks are 45 grand would get you like a base model Tundra these days.
But anyway I financed my truck fully when I bought it. Yeah it sucked to have a payment but I’ve had it for 11 years now and it’s super solid and been paid off for 6 years. If I bought a cheaper truck back then I’d be probably looking at upgrading by now.
