MUTINY - Official Reaction thread

you respect stept so much more when you yourself scope out a urban and is sketchy as hell. but then mutiny features are twice as big as the ones you are scoping...
 
Shea's interview said it all, he's a bit older but he's always down to get after it, he's stoked and you never know what's going to happen.

Don't hate on someone doing the thing they love and his crew supporting him.
 
i'm questioning how sustainable making movies year after year like stept is now. i mean, the amount of impact on many, if not most of the things they hit is crazy whether or not they land it. a serious fall on the other hand, can have really high consequences.

but that's what they're going for, i suppose.
 
i thought it was lightyears ahead of the 86 or any previous stept film in terms of the skiing and the overall production quality. 10/10
 
Knees are going to be their problem. Above most serious injuries, all the flat and backseat landings will take a terrible toll on the Knees.

 
My girlfriend left the room at one point after saying the crashes and flat landings were literally making her knees hurt.
 
I am going to need to watch this at least 5 more times to comprehend what the fuck I just watched. There is no way someone can absorb all of the raw risk and talent contained in this movie by just watching it once. Holy shit I was blown away. Like FUCK. HOLY SHIT.

I was left speechless after watching mutiny. Every feature was gnarly as fuck. Every shot was a banger. Every rider fucking sent it so hard it made my head hurt. The shots were beautiful and well thought out. 10/10 will watch again
 
fucking amazing cinematography. great soundtrack. such a well put together movie, and the skiing was nuts. worth every penny.
 
i met illusive joe joe once at a nashoba jam and i can attest to saying that hes the man.

now i just need to stop being such a jew and spend the money on the movie

Made me smile to see some iconic features from Minnesota in there. All around outstanding, it's a toss up between Clayton and Sean for the best segment for me.
 
also, i was pumped they came to CUSE! hit the iconic henninger handrail (actually noah did a 2on front 2 which is nuts).
 
Wow!

ABM stood out to me. I always love some good Mammoth shots, especially ones that are so big/ballsy.... Candide's over-the-hip shot will always be my favorite, but ABM did some ridiculous things.

"Oh we have a fish eye? Oh Hell Yeah!"

Go buy the movie!

My friend got two and I've heard of others who did as well. Hopefully this doesn't affect their profits too much.
 
yeah i sent out an email offering to mail it back, ski movies aren't very profitable to begin with.
 
i have been watching stept's movies since network and they all have had snowboarding in them. they are "ski and snowboarding movies."

im trying to watch it but its all sped up and im trying to figure out why. anybody have the same problem with the DVD version??
