MUTINY - Official Reaction thread

Anyone know when the Itunes version is out?? I would buy the DVD, but I am in china for the entire month and wouldnt be able to watch it anyways.

Overall this film definitely didn't disappointI really really like shea Flynn's part, the underlying story to it was really awesome and that shot of him lighting the cigarette was tight haha. The Color grade was great too

I really liked the music selection except for chucks part

I loved the raw scary feeling the movie had, it definitely sheds some light into the unflitetered realm of urban skiing & the film really does leave a huge impact on you mentally.

Ive never seen anyone gap the kinks from flat2flat on a quad kink, that was really cool.

Clayton's lip 2/lip 2 to switch on that dub kink was fucking ridiculous

Cons

I would've liked to see more long lens shots and a few 2nd angles instead of just the fisheye shot on some of the features. (shea's sw 2 especially)

Would've been nice to see some jumping from Clayton & chuck too.

not really a con but Id have to say I think clayton (in terms of the creep), sean and chuck definitely had better shots last year, not saying this year was bad though.

wish walker had shots

Shea Flynn. Speechless. And Cam's ender. completely blind gap to that burly DFD? Legitimately insane.

Overall a progressive and different film. Clayton Vilas opener was insane, probably my favorite segment. Sean Jordans part was sick with a good vibe. Shea Flynns part is pretty dark and unlike any other segment i've seen before... the bails were devastating. Cam Riley goes massive. The Big Boulder segment was cool too, I just wish it was a little longer. Soundtrack is unique, only one rap song I believe but overall I loved it. Buy this movie and support them.

Holy balls what a movie.

So many spots, so many gnarly crashes, every rider brought their flavor with very distinctive features for each segments. 50 mins of brutally honest urban skiing.

That movie was savage. Skiing was super aggressive, the vibe was raw, and the cinematography once again did not disappoint.

Pretty hungover this morning while watching it and I almost threw up while watching Flynn's segment.

> Pussy out on the Stept related questions in Q&A

> Can't come up with any form of argumentation

>> Keep talking shit

Wow that was sicker than I expected. There was actually some tech tricks in a lot of the shots, and every segment was just really diverse in the different spots.

10/10 would recommend to a friend!

I was grinding my teeth the whole time watching it. As said before in this thread, no ski movie has effected me like that before. Epic shots, but holy shit, when will these dudes wear helmets??

Got it on iTunes:-Clayton went hard

-Gapping the down is cool now

-Shea is a gnarly dude

-ABM slays everything

-Cam Boll is still underrated

-Kieran had a shot

-Decent soundtrack

oh also, to the stept guys--

i noticed you hit that really nice DFD on top of mission hill. think there's any chance someone will step to that big 6kink that's on the backside of the hill and ends under the archway?

i probably wouldnt even hit it without the archway nowadays (maybe with a foot of snow) but i like checking it out when im on mission hill and always wonder if someone will give it a shot at some point

This is what I was thinking too.

I'm not one of those psychotic helmet advocates and I believe in letting people do what they want, but Jesus. How the fuck can you not wear a helmet doing that shit? It's kind of insane. I wonder what their logic/reason is, I'd be curious to hear it from them

raw stuff, very entertaining. Not sure how they can top that, or if they'd want to next year.

are helmets lame? I just don't get why they wouldn't wear one.

& Shea Flynn has destroyed his body for minor notoriety for a 5-ish year period. I'm sure he probably wouldn't change a thing, but I plan to ski until I'm 70+ ... so, fuck that noise.

Skiing wise, it was their best flick, every rider brought their own style and flavor, some really diverse skiing, from tranny to big stuff to more tech stuff, the skiing was insane.

For the vibe and the movie as a whole, I prefered the 86, I really digged the vibe of that movie. I felt that Mutiny was a bit long, especially the part after Clayton insane opening segment. It's probably more of a personnal feel, I guess it's different for everyone weither or not they really liked the vibe of the movie.

All in all, I think those guys deserve best movie at IF3, what they do is unique, they really put their health and their lives on the line this season, those guys are hardcore and dedicated.

Big up Stept!!

Just watched it on iTunes and I need to see it again just so I can process it . Mind blowing skiing. I really liked Shea's segment along with Clayton's. that's not to say that seany j, chuck, cam and the rest of the crew didn't preform, because they all brought some crazy shots to the table. I just felt that Shea's segment had a good story and dark feel behind it. The most impressive thing about this flick is that the skiing was better than last year and they were able to create a completely different movie with their shots. Nick Martini and the rest of the crew did a phenomenal job.

that was the best ski movie i think i have ever seen. holy shit. everyone fucking killed it. filming and edit was insane. so fucking amazing

sick movie skiing was incredible but...

i knew what was coming, police kicking them out and them getting injured. dont really care to see that shit. kind of got bored in the middle of things.

and these dudes need to wear helmets. with the amount of times they crash and get injured one of them is bound to die/injured for life. but i guess there into how cool they look in the shot. pretty lame to me.

also i felt like the movie revolved around them getting injured or getting kicked out by police.

i dont care

but these dudes are raw and are extremely talented and nick, alex and cam kill it behind the cam/editing!

sorry to sound like a downer in the last post just my personal opinion.

keep it up stept. in the past 3 years ive only bought the stept movie every year

Downloading Mutiny on iTunes right meow. Had to delete my photos, music, and my download of Eye Trip off of my iPod before I ended up downloading it again because off too much space on an 8-gig iPod touch (4th gen). Can't wait to watch this.

Gotta say Im not the hugest fan. Dont get me wrong all the shots were fucking sick but as far as the editing song choices and overall vibe to the movie it just didnt really do it for me.
