word I would kill for that footage, does anyone have any idea who that kid filming with the HD cam was? i'm soo mad I didn't film at all. my vx2100 just sat in my bag at the top of the rail jam set up all day.
 
Sunapee needs to make this into a jib. I mean its just chillin in the 3rd lot

haha thats so sick bobby, i havent even seen that i dnt think. even if it was to be a jib itd end up like the tire or wall and suck after one day
 
thats true and they would prob seem to find a way to set it up shitty

but what sunapee should really do is hit up the junk yard down the road in goshen past one mile west and turn that bus thats been there for years in to a huge butter box

there is still enough snow for a sesh im gonna be up all weekend and hopefully i can fit some rails in my car. anyone wanna ski????

oh and the footage from the rail jam, I have some but haven't had a chance to do anything with it yet. I have footage of the big air too if anyone wants to use some of it. During the season I'm juggling so many things it's tough to edit and post it. I'll try to get a system setup so I have a chance to do it next season.

they dont have power today, NH got hit hard by the ice.

Last time i talked to the guy he said that they were gonna blow snow last night and today in the park and have something in the park. BUT with the lack of power and the storm i have a feeling were gonna have to wait till next week.

it sucks but the park should be sick next weekend

 
so there's no park at all? not even a couple rails? Looks like im driving an extra hour to stratton or okemo. Hopefully they get it set up soon
 
Mount Sunapee Snow Report

As of 4:00pm on Friday Mount Sunapee still does not have power as a

result of the storm. We hope to be open on Saturday. This report will

be updated by 6:30am Saturday as to our operating status for the day.

Trails and lifts listed below are what we hope to operate if power is restored by Saturday morning.

i dont think they made snow in the park yet at all. Next week i would bet a nut that they'll have a park though. Now that the have trails on the main mtn and learning area they'll move the attention to the park and northpeak

 
How's the ice situation? I know sunapee is closed, but i was hoping the ice is melting/receding. I'm still at school in Syracuse, and I know our snow is melting from the storm. I'm hoping to drive home monday. Would like to ski tuesday.
 
Idk about the ice and sunapee hasn't updated the site yet, but my uncle who lives in goshen said that he got his power back this morning, so i guess that's a good sign
 
Icy, no - powder yes!

It's sick out there right now, we have about 4 inches in the past 2 hours and its dumping. You can't even see the Express Quad from the Spruce deck. Pipeline is going to be open this weekend with about 7-10 rails and some jumps. It will also be top-to-bottom with the Spruce triple running.

anything being built, i bet jet stream is going to be sick site says they've been blowing for like 5 straight days now
 
I was up for the weekend and ended up headin home yesterday cause of all the snow.
Ton of fun and tons of snow.

As of sunday the upper skiers right was setup basically the same as last year..... Snow skate rails to butter box and A box next to eachother then you skied down a bit to the trap box and then a 5ft? jump.
All the lips onto jibs were very decent which was nice and stoked to see improvement there.
The landing on the trap was dece and just like last year the laning for the A box and butter are still a little too far away so you knuckle slightly instead of hitting perfect tranny.
I'm sure with all this snow they'll make the jump bigger
and hopefully they'll move and add a couple things around because to be fully honest it was the same setup as last year with even less flow........ The boxes were placed randomly. Two boxes were placed next to each other then there was a big space to the trap. Woulda been nice to see three in a row instead but maybe that's what they've been workin on this week.
Should be up christmas and a few days after, stoked to see what's been done.
 
Agree with you 100% i feel that happens every year, everything is way to far apart, especially on the upper skiers right

Hopefully they'll have a sweet park this weekend, I mean Carinthia did it with November Temperatures
 
the weathers straight ignant today but anyone know whats gonna be up tomorrow, sunday the 28th, and what quality the setups will be? the site said 3 box 4 rail and some step downs but im gonna pass if its shit. anyone know anything?

i tried that S rail like 30 times yesterday it is the most frustrating funnest thing ever... i got withing a foot or two from the very end like 6 or 7 times but was never able to get the whole thing... granted im not too good at curvy rails.

Absolutely ill rail tho
 
they had a pretty nice park set up today. bunch of rails and boxes, 2 small jumps, 1 big step over ish jump, and another nice bigger jump
