Mt. Sunapoontang

i emailed them they said they got a couple other new rails

and now the east side trail is going to have some intermediate to advanced jumps on it!
 
two more flat bars short and medium i think. a wide ass butter trap box, a mellow a rail, and the giant rainbow (40ft by 6 ft) eastside is goin to be a park this year but I dont know how stoked I am on it. The trail isn't that steep plus it means a short run dumping you into a traverse to the sunbowl but i wont judge yet
 
i think it would have been much better putting a park on elliot even though you kinda have to skate back to the chair at least you dont have to take the bowl lift
 
i saw in yesterdays argus champion newspaper that sunapee will be adding a park in the sunbowl on eastside. they have also added lots of snowmaking on this trail, maybe this will be the park with bigger hits.
 
yea bro thats what we're talkin about... rumor is sayin bigger stuff but that runs pretty flat
 
my bad, i really have to start reading the posts before i post something. it would be awesome if they put up some bigger features over there even if there wasent many things just a couple nice jumps and rails
 
all they need is 3 good jumps and 4 rails and i would be extremely happy. maybe by putting big stuff all the way in the sunbowl it will keep some of the little kids away
 
i cant wait for this season, sunapee now has everything they need to make some really good/ big features in a really good location
 
word is opening day will be the day after thanksgiving

they should start blowing snow thursday night
 
anyone know if there will be park this weekend?like saturday the 8th? They said they started blowin snow in the park.
 
We are glad your gone spencer hah, but anyway ragged has a new park crew that gets to do what ever the hell they want over there so i bet ragged wont be that bad.... And for all us Sunapee folks, WE HAVE NO PARK CREW THIS YEAR. i was talking to John and he said everyone left pretty much, hell be the only one doing anything. Matty was sick of everyones shit so hes only using the cat and thats it. brian is gone and the other kids are gone too. So yah, find people that will join.
 
according the the website they will have a rail park up this weekend, but u have to hike it so i guess thats good cause there will be no little kids over there

well, if nothing happens, me and MESKI and others will do what we can. we may need a bunch of kids to send e-mails to the mountain either complaining, or informing of the need of a park and a crew. so be ready. they listen to e-mails and input. we sent e-mails and got mad kids that we know from riding to send stuff to the mountain about a park set up this weekend. and low and behold they set something up. so be ready to type, we may have to fight for this lol its a worthy cause

update: sunapee has a down rail, A box, up/flatish box, and a trap rail which is 100% ride on. more stuff for this weekend including a jump.

brian left the crew. matty is on groomers, and john is snowmaking and stayin with the park crew

apparently sunapee has hired a new crew so hopefully these guys know what they are doing and make the park gnarmazing

i was gonna ask the same thing, i heard they'll have some jumps this weekend and im sure they'll have a few more jibs, speciffically i dont know tho

sunapeee is the worst fucking mountain i have ever been to, im so disapointed that i bought a pass there worst decision i have ever made in my life
 
yea yo don't be hatin on sunapee they imrove so much every year and its just a really mellow layed back place
 
maybe learn to make the best of something. thats what we did. i know tons of kids who love sunapee, purely for the fact that the people are nice and the features are decent.

I might be, I'm debating it right now. What do they have set up? How much snow are they gonna get?
 
i guess, they are going to get 16 inches of snow, sounds good, i'm debating on going monday or tuesday, depending on the conditions of the roads
