MSU Bozeman fall 07

Yeah dude just throw me down as "KLD, dude with green leprechaun icon" as your reference and they will hire you instantly. But seriously, I don't know if working at bridger was worth it. If you are looking for a free pass and cheap food, then yes, it is. However, you have to keep in mind that the first year instructors get the weekend kids classes, which means half your day is spent on virginia city. I only worked there because I had the winter off and could get all the skiing I needed during the week. Just something to keep in mind.

so how many hours do you have to work to get a pass? i think that it would be pretty sick to work as a liftie on some weekends and ski some. also do you have to be emt certified to be a volunteer ski po

They say that you are supposed to be full time to get the pass but in reality everyone gets one because they aren't honestly going to make part timers get a voucher every time they need to teach. And yes, you do have to be emt cert to be on the patrol at all.

I'm in the process of moving in to my house. If anyone wants to stop by it's the bright yellow one on Willson and Hayes. I have a driveway too, so if people want to carpool skiing or biking let me know!

yea for sure that'd be sick. I'm in 717 north if anyone ever has an urge to stop by. It's also right next to Cheever, so if you have a little time between classes or something, you can come up and chill

more damn orientation. I think I'm free this weekend tho, it might work out. feel free to swing down any time too since you're right above me. I'm interested in meeting some NS'ers before we get on the mountain

today is my birthday so we better be partying it up tonight!!! even if your not down to party tonight stop by and say HI or something.

I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding a party to go to if your friend knows people in town, this weekend will probably be crazy. As for me, my car is in Idaho, so I might be prowling around town on the bike in my quest for a BUI.

Man we went biking today, but i fucked my bike up hardcore, i think we're goig to find me a bike and go out tomorrow

I think I'll be able to go riding this weekend depending on how motivated I get on moving and organizing all my shit...I need to sell some gear as well. And buy a shitty campus bike. But yeah, I can show anybody around the Bridgers, Hyalites, or Big Sky if you're interested.

ya that sounds sick, but i don't no about this weekend i kinda should get all my shit organized, but i'd definatley be down for exploring some trails and what not

I should be able to ride weekends and tuesday/thursday until 3 until I start getting a ton of homework (soon). Just give me a call at 539-4335 and we can go ride! And my name is Sam, to make calling a random person a bit less awkward.

Ya definatley sounds sick, my name is justin. do you know of any folf courses that are close to campus or at least not all the way out in the woods

People play at Lindley park a lot, but I know some people in town get pissed about it. Just don't go when it's crowded and you should be ok. To get there, get on Main St., go east, and turn right when you go to the top of the hill at the end of downtown. I think there's numbers painted onto the trees, but I'm not sure because I don't play folf. There's also a course at Big Sky, but I doubt anyone wants to drive 1.5 hours just for that.

Nice i know where that park is, ya i don't think it would be worth it to go all the way to big sky just to play folf, but how is it for biking, have you been?

It's really sick up there, defnintely worth the $29 day ticket. I'm sure I'll be going up there next weekend and you're welcome to come along, just make sure to bring a big bike.

They just run Swifty, but I can show you some good sized drops and jumps I've found. The trails can get pretty crazy too. If you're really crazy, I know there's a 40' and a 60' road gap up there somewhere, but you have to ask the right person in the right way to have them shown to you.

holy shit dude, road gaps, i'd possible be down for skiing but mountain biking is just plain crazy. but i like fast trails with drops and jumps, ya i'll have give you a call some time

This might be the last time I have internet access for a while, so if there's any sort of gathering or bike ride you'll have to call me. I have class all day monday/wednesday/friday and one class at 3:00 on tuesday/thursday.

Moved into roskie last night. Had a crazy wild first night. IF anyone is looking for some fun and wants to party or longboard or both come to room 317 or text me 509-860-2891.

We could go DH up Truman gulch or something, I have two bikes. I only have one set of platforms though, so you'd probably have to find your own pedals.

I moved into south hedges 508, you guys should stop by,

and i'm down for riding whenever, street, trails, dh, whatever

Has anyone hit up any cool parties yet? I was at some frat house last night which was pretty fun, but I'm still waiting for an epic party.

who i didn't know matisyahu is going to be in zoo town, i heard slightly stoopid is playing there some time too i want to go

seeing as how most conflicts would be during the week, friday, saturday or sunday would work best. and the other question that arises is what do we wanna do, a fiesta gathering, or like an outdoor thing like biking.
