MSP, and the PURSUIT of EPIC

1) fuck you. My response to your comment has nothing to do with matty being a pal of mine, it has to do with your comment being unfair to someone who may not admit to liking your movies, but does watch them, and takes something away from them everytime they watch them.

in all reality Matty said that Rory's was hucked and Missile said that Matty's was hucked, very little diference.

My question is, Who started this thread, because it is very in depth really for someone with 12 posts.
 
the big difference in here being that said 1080 was in an MSP movie, made by professionals. Anything in the EM trailer, is just made by kids from high school, kids just making movies for fun. MSP isn't doing just cause it's fun.

Plus, EM just realeased their movie last year for free on the internet (i don't know if they are this year), but either way, it's just kids doing what they want because they're able to. I see no reason to harsh on Matty because he said he didn't like a trick that, in my opinion, also looked like crap in a PROFESSIONAL TRAILER.

that's just my take on it though, you can continue to be a douchebag to kids having fun if you'd like though.
 
Youo can say that all you want dude, but skiing is all peopl just wanting to have fun really, but if matty had a chance to get 10 grand to release his video with Armada name on it S A SPONSOR HE WOULDN'T TAKE IT? The difference between Rory and Matty are really not that big here. I have noth8ing against matty and think his trailer is good.(just to get that out of the way) Rory probably does not ski because of his lack of life skills and working ability. He skiis because he loves it and thinks its fun. So bigger difference here, may be their skill levels, but not the mindset of the thing entirely. When you diss Rorys 10 you ar dissing him, not winter. And Rory just happens to be the SHIT/
 
that whole arguement is irrelevant. the point is they put in a shot of a haggard 10 in their teaser. the point is NOT about the two skier, but rather the two film makers. i'm not dissing rory, i'm sure he's done a way better 10 than that, yea it was first hit, but why put it in if it doesn't look good? THAT'S the point.

i was pretty much saying in my last arguement is that MSP is SELLING movies from this teaser, and putting in shots of haggard looking first hits (props to him for stomping 10 first hit though), where as EM is just making movies for fun and could probably care less about sales seeing as they released their last movie for free. you get it now?

and the douchebag thing was really more directed towards whoever initially was raggin on matty for voicing his opinion about that shot.
 
Isn't the real point of a movie how good the skiing is? Yeah Msp has lame editing, steals songs and graphics but they also happened to document the exploits of many of my favourite skiers all year. You all are forgeting about the point of these films...
 
Documenting skiing.

Big helilines and slow motion is not really what the typical skier does... and if it is your definition of typical skiing, then we need to fuck or something so i can score some free helitrips and stop spending money on heroin and other depressant drugs.
 
why not watch a movie that doesn't cause boredom? i'd rather not spend 2 minutes watching one trick.
 
Personally I dont want to see the "typical" east coast skier who doesn't leave the park documented. I'll settle for slow-mo seth over that anyday.

Then watch any number of companies (amateur and professional). No one is hating on big mountain. And besides, the skiers headling push are all skiers that made their names in park. Think of what you are defending by your comment.
