No like, if im using Vinyl turntables, dont you need a box to stream MP3's from your computer to the turtables so you can scratch those songs on the turntables? Did I make sense?
The dude above is right. YOu need to get a serato box which is like 300 and 2 timecoded records which are like 25 each. and you need to get serato which proly comes with the box im not sure...
don't, you'll hate your life on belt-drives. troll craigslist for two weeks and I can guarantee you'll stumble across some tech 12s with serato for under a grand.
also if you want a cheap timecoding setup, check out ms. pinky. I used it for a minute and it was super sick and super cheap. also the only way to get vinyl control of ableton.
because vinyl sound is the full wavelength unlike a mp3 which is just the middle of the wave length and you don't get all the highs and lows... if you can manage to use both your a g. now you can get wmvs of songs and master that is digital. but vinyl has a certain "warmth" that some like my self look for.
vinyl is cool and has a nostalgic effect.
