Not buying the 10$ lift pass? It's all going to the Hurricane victims which is sick, and why I'll be using the lift instead of hiking haha.
 
Nope, main base, Launch Pad is the bunny hill, you need to go to the clock tower to get tickets.
 
oh my bad. i thaught launchpad was Grommet, but now that I rethink yea, mainbase. I don't pay attention when I smoke pot, it's awsome
 
Mount Snow was mad tight! Great time for sure. Made the 13+ jour journey from Columbus, Ohio and it was worth it for sure. Today was by far the best. Compton was there throwing down as well! So tight.
 
i really hope so. I actually get the day off friday after txgiving and I really wanna get up there
 
well summit isn't open but they're going to have launchpad and a few features on gulch. I might go saturday.
 
So me and about five friends won free tickets to Mt. Snow at the Boston Ski and Snowboard Expo, they expire December 21st. We were thinking of heading up the weekend after Thanksgiving. My question is do you think that Carinthia will be open by this point or will it still just be the Launchpad?
 
i wouldnt waste a free lift ticket on opening weekend...come up on a weekend later in december and youll have much more fun and the park will be much more legit
 
I'll be up there at some point later today. Let ya'll know the scoop if it ain't posted up already, but the setup looks similar to what they had last year at opening.
 
Went yesterday, they were blowing snow all day which sucked. It was real icy though, towards the end of the day it was barely worth going up. They had there usual little jib park set up at the bottom, it would have been nice if it wasnt icy
 
i mised it this weekend, i figured i should save my money for a good day.

Haha I remember opening weekend last year was like that, near the end of the day I couldn't even make real turns and took forvever to stop
 
Silly kids, going to a mountain opening day (a rushed one at that) and expecting good conditions...always know, it's cold, the guns are on, if the guns are on it's gonna get sucky, and wet snow (i.e. from daytime snowmaking at slightly above a wetbulb of 28)+cold=ice.

Don't get me wrong, opening day is usually always fun, mostly because you're stoked to be back on skis...but never expect good conditions.
