14621160:PartyBullshiit said:Ahhh ok. So the new DWT stuffing I got in my box will be the 25/26 line up?
14621162:hot.pocket said:Correct
14621163:cali_invader said:I know it's been leaked already but the new Countach 104 should be interesting. [tag=144811]@hot.pocket[/tag] what was the inspiration for making a narrower Countach?

14621260:PartyBullshiit said:They need to drop the 95 brake on those pivots for the frank
14621264:Dlonetti said:i could just use pivot 95 brakes i have and swap em right? also i wasn’t even aware of this color way until yesterday, guessing it’s pretty fresh. only seeing them for $430 cheapest is tough, hopefully they become a bit more common and i can find a cheaper pair closer to season

14621274:Non_State_Actor said:The brakes will be destroyed and bent to shit after 3 days on snow so it doesn't really matter what size they are.

14623388:-eREKTion- said:Well, well, well… how the turn tables
Is this legally binding? Do I have to buy a Countach 104 now? I probably should, right?
14623411:-eREKTion- said:Anyone seen weight/radius for the 188?
Also, [tag=144811]@hot.pocket[/tag] what are the relative capabilities and limitations of the C104 vs the DW104. I’m on the fence for my next ski purchase. Big DW112 guy but am interested in something a bit chargier/more directional for low tide.
14623413:PartyBullshiit said:I can tell you the dw 104 charges harder than the 112 having both. The core is beech/poplar like the countach so the 104 dw has more back bone. I prefer my 104 over my 112.
the 104 ct has a similar core but more reward directional mount so should have more back bone that my dw 104. Should be faster edge to edge over the dw 104 as well and be more chargy too. Sounds like a super fun ski honestly.

14623416:-eREKTion- said:I’m more debating the subjective right now. Would the C104 allow me to lean into it more than a Deathwish while still being easy (not Deathwish easy) to throw sideways to scrub speed/change direction in tight spots? My ski style fluctuates from pretty neutral in tight spots to very forward when terrain opens up. Deathwish is great when standing centered and more upright but I know a more rearward mount would do better when driving the tips. How much will a C104 punish a variable stance? Will the tips put me in the backseat if I try to ski upright?
14623390:PartyBullshiit said:100% should. I want one pretty bad to compliment my 110 just doesn’t make sense having the DW 104 as well. Going to pull the trigger on the Frank’s instead to add playful sub 100 to the quiver.
14623460:Dlonetti said:any intent of hitting rails with the franks? just curious. i have found them to be a very fun ski to just jib around the mountain on, especially in the spring
14623524:PartyBullshiit said:Forsure. Which top sheet do you have?
14625473:maaattt said:Any momentheads skiing Mt Baker? Resort, not bc
14625502:Non_State_Actor said:I want to get down there sometime. Living in Vancouver it's a relatively easy day trip. I'll have to keep an eye on conditions this spring.
14625585:maaattt said:I know that most moment offerings will do just fine as the snow isn't all that different from the Sierras, but want to know what frequent Baker skiers are using
14625591:Non_State_Actor said:I ride the deathwish 112 at Cypress and occasionally Whistler, I think the snow packs are pretty consistent between those places and Baker. Typically higher moisture content than Sierras but not a lot different. The skis rip in the fresh, slush, lumpy crud, mashed potatoes. They're fine on the firmer rain crust and refreeze hardpack type stuff but don't carve it up like a narrower more cambered ski could potentially.

Lowkey might get a tele setup for this season if I cant figure out my boot pain. Heel absolutely killing me so driving the front of the ski and buttering hurts. Will size down first and if that dosn't help I'm stuck to tele.
14626424:PartyBullshiit said:Tele on the blades is fucking wild.
14626426:BallClapper said:Tele guys are crazy. So dedicated they will put tele bindings on absolutely anything.

I know Sierra.com sometimes has titles mixed up but this seems very specific and is repeated through the description.
