The website does not do the Commanders justice, I'm absolutely biased but they are some of the nicest looking skis I've ever had the pleasure of producing.

I've said this before, but these are definitely topsheet of the year for me.

Anyone have any experience touring with cast on the wildcat 108s? The 108s are my favorite resort ski but I’m worried they’ll be a little too heavy for me on longer tours

Ideally Ide get the 108 tour as well but $

[tag=173075]@tcurle[/tag] tours on the 118 Wildcat with the Cast system all the time, certainly heavier than other touring setups but it beats riding a tour setup in the resort or spending a ton of money for two setups.

Quite a bit of these touring shots were also accessed on a 108 Wildcat Cast setup:

U should wax every ski before u ride them

Incorrect. Unless your first day on them is in the extremes temperature wise, the factory tune is top notch and no wax needed for at least a couple days

Everyone is right, we put a sweet wax on the skis before we ship them out but, with that said, another wax never hurts, especially if you live in a weird climate.

You'll be fine if you don't feel like waxing, but waxing right away won't hurt it either. Most people don't wax right away, some do because they're super picky about their wax type, some do because it's a relaxing thing for them.

We also offer custom skis

Damn.. This may be a game changer. I know this may be a stretch, but any chance you have an album of past ski graphics? I have a couple in mind that I love, but I figured there has to be others I dont know about.

Most are online, Google search "moment skis issuu 2014" and replace with whatever year you'd like. issuu is the website that hosts old catalogs, you can find most brands on there.

Someone willing to sell me some moment frankenskis with the palm tree graphic? I can’t afford to get customs and their not for sale anywhere online I know of

About to mount my deathwishes tomorrow, is the rec line the triangle on the sidewall?

Yes, the biggest center triangle is the main factory rec line with smaller triangles at plus/minus 1 and 2cm.

Main rec triangle is always money on moment skis.

That binding is so fkn good

Plus it's not just a rebrand, we worked with ATK to raise the toe piece and reduce the ramp angle from 11mm to 7.5mm.

Pretty convinced my next tour specific setup will be Moments - this news just makes that even more exciting

As soon as I saw the release I started doing the math of how many paintings I need to sell ASAP to buy a pair. Was in the market for new binders for my DWT anyway, and these look damn perfect.

So go buy my paintings so I can buy these!

I mean a custom ON3P runs 900-1200 and their pricing is pretty similar so I’d say it’s accurate speculation

Bro custom oneps are no where near 1200

14187973:Olimar said:
damn. is this accurate or speculation?

Yes. When I asked, I was talking with Luke, their vice president, and that price came from him. It's expensive to produce a one off ski

Yup, typically you're looking at $1200-1500 depending on what you're looking to do. The extra cost is due to the labor that goes into producing a single, one off ski, instead of our usual large batch production.

P.S. Luke is our CEO.

14188010:Cade2 said:
Yeah but that’s with a sidewall and base change, if you just pick a topsheat it’s way cheaper

Ok but point is they can be up to 1200 so thanks for your input pal ?

moment gang....

about to pre order some bananas.

The mount point on the bananas is -5, right?

I have my ghost trains at -3.5 (rec is -4.5) and i really like the way they ride.

So i was also thinking about mounting the bananas at -3.5 rather than the recommended -5. is this going to cause problems with sidecut or anything? will they ride like crap if i do that?

Judging by the 35m turn radius it doesnt seem like it would change much. theres literally no info about the bananas and havent heard anyone riding them. Blister just posted flash review on them but im not about to pay 50$.

hoping tcurle or hot pocket could provide some insight about mount point and the way they ride. Seems like the bananas are loose but chargy soft snow slayers.

I only have a handful of days on my Bananas so far, but I went +1 from rec (-4 from centre) and that feels money. I was tempted to push it even further forward, but my worry was being off the natural balance point of the reverse camber and ending up with more tail rocker than nose.

Loving the ski so far. Stiff and chargy, but still super quick edge to edge and initiates a drift on a dime. I also heavily detuned from tip to tail.
