Mind=blown

Crazy shit

There have been 514 leap years since caesar created it in 45bc.

Without then extra day every 4 years today would be July 28, 2013.

Also the mayan calendar did not account for leap year.

Technically the world should have ended 7 months ago.

MIND=BLOWN

There is a pair of shoes you want to buy for $97. You borrow 50 from your mom and 50 from your dad to pay for the shoes. You buy the shoes and get $3 in change. You give $1 to your mom and $1 to your dad and keep the extra dollar. You now owe them each $49. 49+49+ the extra one dollar you kept is $99. Where did the last dollar go? MIND=BLOWN

flawed logic in giving money back to your parents. thats like saying you get 3 dollars in change and keep all 3. you owe each parent 50. 50+50 plus the 3 dollars you kept for yourself= 103. you just made 3 bucks

No the 49's are how much you still owe them. You initially owe them each 50, for a total of 100. You have $3 in change. You give them each $1, so now you owe them each $49, and you have the remaining dollar. 49+49+1=99=the amount you've yet to pay back, so where'd the last dollar go? It is flawed logic technically, but most people still have a hard time grasping it.

Probably been said, but...

They say the universe is all that there is.

They also they it is constantly expanding.

But if the the universe is all there is, what is it expanding into?

if you split the 97 into equal halves, you pay them both back 48.50 of the original 97. by keeping the 3, you have to give them each an additional 1.50 to pay them back in full. so by paying them both back 49 you are taking that 3.00, taking 1.00 of it, giving each parent .50 of it, leaving you with 2.00 to split and give each of your parents 1.00 to pay them back in full.

so as a recap:

shoes cost 97 + 3.00 in change.

97/2 = 48.5 and you still have the 3.00 in change

(48.5+0.50) * 2 = (49) * 2 = 98.00 and 2.00 in change

(49 + 1) * 2 = (50) * 2 = 100 and no change remaining

by the logic you were using:

each parent starts with 1.00 therefore you have to pay them 49.00, however, when you take that approach, you are simply subtracting from the total you owe, which does not account for the 3.00 you kept. This means, by keeping that 3 dollars, you currently have an extra 3.00, but you still owe a total of 100 to be split between your parents, and when you give each of them 1.00, the total becomes 2.00 less than what you owe in total.

So, by keeping the 3.00 you owe your parents 97 + 3 = (48.50 * 2) + (1.50 * 2), by giving them each a dollar its 99 + 1 = (49.50 * 2) + (0.50 * 2).

The Depressing Truth Behind Pokemon

no credit goes to me

Observations:

-Gary has a wife in one of the games.

-Gary is approximately 12.

-Children are routinely kicked out of their homes at around 12 to catch and train pokemon to fight each other.

-Single parent-hood is very very common.

-Pokemon are sentient. They have a high emotional intelligence and can understand human language.

-Humans frequently make stronger bonds with their pokemon than with other humans.

-Pokemon are much stronger and more powerful than humans. They created the world in the first place. They could overpower them easily if they chose to.

-Pokemon are subservient to humans, but seem to not have a problem with this.

-Wild, not-yet caught pokemon have a huge problem with being captured by humans, and will attack any human they come across and fight tooth and nail to break out of the pokeball the first time.

-No one seems to stop and think about the fact that though pokemon are sentient and highly intelligent, humans basically treat them like attack dogs.

-There is an organized crime syndicate in every region of the pokemon universe.

-There is only one police officer per town that ever tries to do anything useful.

-There doesn’t seem to be a government.

Conclusions:

-The pokeball acts as a form of brainwashing/mind control, passifying the captured pokemon into a sort of chemical Stockholm Syndrome allowing humans to control it.

-These were created by a number of scientific megacorporations as a way to attempt to prevent pokemon from just obliterating all humans.

-The general population was never told that this is how pokeballs work. They honestly believe pokemon just want to be with us. The megacorporations and organized crime syndicates run the world in lieu of a government and keep the nature of the human/pokemon relationship secret.

-No one has ever questioned this reality because the human culture of the pokeverse is one that deemphasizes maturity. They consider people to be adults at the age of 12, even though the brain isn’t fully developed in the areas of understanding cause and effect and consequences until about 20-25. Thus, these qualities must not be considered important by society.

-Marriage is treated much more lightly in the pokeverse than in ours. It’s not expected to last, and it’s acceptable to marry just about anyone you’re dating. Kids leave home young because they were born to parents who were too young to really know what they were doing, and frequently get raised by a still very young single parent. So they leave to lighten the burden on the adults.

Results: The pokeverse is a world full of people with the maturity of children with closer bonds to the sentient creatures they’ve unknowingly brainwashed and enslaved than to each other, being controlled by criminals and corporations who are really just trying to protect the human race from annihilation.

id seen this before and watched it on acid.....kinda like listening to two headphones at once, shit was going both ways simultaneously and perfectly clear and simple. idk if this makes me smarter or crazy, but i enjoy the feelin

this is fucked, this represents the giant stone owl at the bohemian grove, where mad illuminati members meet the first two weeks of july every summer and decide whos going to succeed, die, laws in countries, etc..

really? you sure it isnt the symbol for wisdom since the ancient greeks? because im pretty sure the goddess athena had a pet owl for that exact reason.

but your right its probably the Illuminati.

because part of it is...unless you differentiate between the UK and great britain, but seriously, fucking semantics

I have just had my mind blown more than ever before. The best known logo in all of streetwear and skate fashion is literally the simplest any logo could be. I'd always known it was simple, but playing with it in Photoshop to do some ripoff logos, I discovered that the Supreme logo is just a Futura font on a rectangle of the simplest, reddest red. Maybe it's not much, but for me...

Mind = Blown

Not semantics. Physical vs. Political Geography. Great Britain is the large island constituted by Scotland, Wales and England. The United Kingdom is Great Britain plus Northern Ireland.

Some Irish people might take offence to just being included in Great Britain.

This can be said for a lot of Company's. Saga for instance used Arial (bolded?) and slightly skewed the letters in their old logo.

Kind of.

Some may say the chance is 0% because you dont know the question / there is no real question.

Others may say the chance is 33% because usually it is 25% but you can cross out A) or D) because they are the same and then you have 3 options.

BUT

I think the answer is 50% because usually you have a 25% chance if there are 4 options. But A) and D) are the same and if you think logically you can conclude that these two cant be the answer so you can cross them out and you have two options left. Therefore the answer is 50%

If that doesn't make sense than please correct me and don't hate. This is just an approach to solve this stupid paradox.
