=me after reading tread.

It actually does work pretty well. It basically detects similar patterns and textures from other parts of the photo, duplicates them and inserts them in the part you deleted. Except it lines up certain, lines and textures so it looks just like a continuation, and like it was always there.

Obviously it's not perfect and you couldn't remove a whole tree or something giant out of a picture.

It works pretty damn good for touch-ups and stuff though. In that video where he removes the branches it works perfect because there really isn't too much "texture" or anything to line up in the sky. It just doesn't work as well if you're deleting something out of a highly detailed area.

I'm still amazed by it though. Haha

There have been about 514 Leap Years since Caesar created it in 45BC. Without the extra day every 4 years, today would be July 28, 2013. Also, the Mayan calendar did not account for leap year…so technically the world should have ended 7 months ago.

Their calendar ended after the earth took X amount of rotations around the sun and landed on the winter solstice. It was based on years (rotations around the sun) not days(how many times the earth spins). How you divide up the year is irrelevant: It depends on laps around the sun.

Sorry for dub post but if the leap year didnt exist you have to take 514 days off the current date. Not add 514 days to it. Just stupid really. today should really be some time in 2010. Also the mayans never predicted the world to end.
