I feel like it is a worthy repost because I'm sure it is.
The back story.
Daniel Dumile (Do-me-lay) was born in London on January 9th 1971. His mother was from Trinidad, his father was from Zimbabwe. He moved from London to Long Beach, Long Island, NY.
He started the rap group KMD in 1988 with his brother DJ Subroc and a rapper named Onyx the Birthstone Kid. KMD gained some buzz and was signed to Elektra Records. In 1991, they released an album called "Mr. Hood" and got heavy play on many hip hop TV programs.

I forgot to mention that the whole DOOM persona is because he swore to take revenge on the mainstream for allowing Elektra to do that to him. This story is closely related to that of a super villain, and Dumile being a fan of comics, lead him to want to be depicted as this^^^
 
DOOM is fucking awesome, but hes a skuzzbag

i love doom. really unique in my mind. so bummed that i missed his concert when he came down under
 
sorry for dub post butin regards to the grim and doom beef they have reconciled if you did not already knowthe book of daniel was such a fire track but it was almost more of a track to help doom instead of straight dissing him. if you listen to the final words of the song grimm sounds so sad about the whole thing!
 
I fucking love DOOM.

I actually think my favorite album of his is now Danger Doom... Although Madvillainy and Born Like This are pretty awesome too.

by the way did anyone find that mashup with doom(melody) x the cool kids. it was in the stept keystone edit with clayton vila and noah albadalejo

Pink Floyd may be the one musical group I like more than DOOM. Also, coming in to this thread made up of obvious DOOM fans and slandering him is doing literally nothing. Are you trying to change our minds or do you think anyone on this site honestly gives half a fuck what you think because neither of them are happening.

This thread isn't about Pink Floyd, or the best artists. It's about DOOM, and only him. So if you're going to come in and say he's shit compared to other artists then don't post in the thread.
