Mckain or Obama

becasue it would be a hypicritacal (sp) vote for me.. i only agree with like 2 things that McCaine has to offer..and if and when something goes to shit while he is in office i could say, "well at leat i didnt vote for his dumbass"

same goes with Oboma, even though i dont like anything he really says..

oh yeah and if hillary was the frontrunner i would definitly vote for McCaine, but that if hillary was the fronrunner, but it looks like Oboma is in the lead..wich is good cuz i really dont like that women from Hell.

haha you can't spell for jack shit. im just putting that out there, im not trying to be your english teacher or anything.

Glenn Beck is symbolic of how opinion and careless speculation is destroying what little credibility the media had.

Oh course you say that when somebody openly states their opinion. The kind of credibility you're looking for means you need to stay the hell away from editorials.

I personally like him better than the pundits that always look for a fight (like O'Reilly) or stuffy pricks that are overly impressed with themselves (like Olbermann).

I think a slow wrap up and a fast pull out is really all part of personal preference honestly

but answering the question, McCain

Opinions have merit, at least some anyways. Theres nothing wrong with having a talk show thats politically one sided either. I just have a problem with the people that prop him up as a man of the people or the hero of his network.

at least glenn beck is openly biased...

dont tell me that NBC and the rest of the alphabet networks are objective,(for the most part)

plus someone correct me if im wrong, but glenn beck has even corrected someone who on his show and called him a journalist.

he is a commentator, and i say,if the free market is working(making money for cnn)then let him have his show, you know what you get when you watch his show, i like that..

i dont like when i turn on the evening "news" and see slanted reporting and biased news anchors.

Replace the name Glenn Beck with just about anybody and that statement is still true. Your problem is the assumption that people are not able to distinguish between actual reporting and editorial opinion. While pop-culture and the people in NSG would have you believe that, it's generally not the case with people that actually have a job and contribute to society in a meaningful way, at least from my experience. The kicker is that most of those people have better and more productive things to do than to get riled up on the topic du jour.

Mobb Deep's "Prodigy" on the elections. He hits the nail on the head.

I have to say that I disagree, from my experience I believe many people are not able to distinguish a news report from an editorial opinion, when you hear someone throwing out their opinion to you over and over if you think about what they are doing well, they are telling you what to think. If you say something enough to the public through television, newspapers, etc. a lot of people are going to eventually believe it regardless if the author or network is being objective (Usually not the case) or not. (example Bush Administration - every hear him say "The Evil Terrorists, Iraq, WMD's etc." They were said enough times that the masses were effectively told what to think, so then people just take in this produced reality which then shapes their broader reality. Sure it would be better if the entire country was highly educated and had the ability to critically think about every issue presented to them and could effectively deconstruct the media format being presented to them, and don't get me wrong there are a lot of people like that out there, but when you look at the American culture from a holistic perspective I believe this is not the case. I think that paying attention to the media and thinking critically about issues is VERY important. Think about what is being presented to you, what motives might be behind it, what do they want from you, others, themselves? You can't just say oh this is just a bunch of crap and ignore these details, because like it or not, it's there, the moment you bury your head in the sand, you as an individual lose all your power and are being effectively controlled.

Perspective I guess, or maybe I'm surrounded by mostly morons. But yeah, not the case from what I've seen, sadly.

McCain forsure. He's a war hero. he knows whats up when your fighting in a war. War will always be happening, People saying that they going to try to make world peace needs to get a reality check. War is always going to be around and the U.S. needs someone to know how to handle it.

I mean the pres. is the chief on what goes on in the war. so u have to have someone to know how it is and has been in a fight or has some EXTREME knowledge of what its like. I think Bush is doing a fine job. Not the greatest but good.

Im not going for hillary or obama.

no offence towards women but a women emotions would kick in and she would break down if we had another 9/11. Thats why Men have always been president.

Obama hes to young maybe in 8 or 12 more years man. Its like u just want to be a celebrity. U have to have someone that has Alot of experience and knowledge. yes hes in the senate and smart but the older the wiser.

McCain is where its at end of story.

I am not at all for Hillary but I think that is very condescending to say. Another thing that women's rights activists and feminists should take offense to is the fact that the main reason Hillary is electable is because she became known because of Bill, arguably had she not been the first lady she would have no chance now.

I have to say I disagree with you.

I'll just start with a small list.

1. Failed handling 911

2. Drags our country into a war through bullshit propaganda then..... completely mismanages it, costing billions upon billions of dollars,

3. Raised our national deficit to over $9,000,000,000,000

4. Failed our country when Hurricane country hit.

5. Dragged our economy to the point where it's near recession

6. Absolutely HORRIBLE environmental policy

7. Destroyed the reputation of the United States in the world.

can you explain why these tax cut's are good? I disagree

I can tell you why they are not, in case you have not seen, the economy of the united states is not flourishing like the president promised. they have failed miserably, tax cuts for the wealthy and business's have resulted in WAY slower than average business investment growth, incredibly slow job growth, slower wage growth compared to inflation growth, higher unemployment rates, effectively pushing forward the ever growing national deficit of our country. Who wouldn't be willing to sacrifice these tax cuts for better economic growth, healthcare, and education?

McCain for sure. fucking obama is so anoyying with his "change" shit. like honestly, i get it, look at the presidential approval ratings, everyone wants change because bush is a retard, i get it. obama to me is a stuffed suit with all these great empowering speeches, but i do not feel that he has enough experiance to lead the country. just my opinion though. plus, party loyalty baby!!! when you own a business, voting democratic is like shooting yourself in the foot.

Wow, way to have a point of view that is incredibly selfish, naive, and ignorant. It is exactly this type of shallow thinking that got our country into the fucking mess it's in today.

i agree it can be viewed as selfish. but i want to do whats best for me and my family, you can do whats best for you and your family, whats so wrong with that? its still a free country right? whats best for my family is to keep people from taxing the living shit out of us. ya diggg

by the way, that video of mobb is soooo true. i live outside of philly and all i hear on the rap radio stations is people calling in "i'm voting for obama because he could be our first black president." and that shit makes me sick that so many uneducated people are just going to vote on race or gender, but that really made me respect mobb sooo much more, hes the man.

i have no idea whos gonna win this election right now but i think it will become obvious long before they actually start voting

I just had an idea that would be good for both our families, how about getting out of a war that cost the average american family of four $20,000? Oh well let's just stay there for 100 years and pay for it!

the way i heard it from the war veteran, yes veteran because he acually has experiance with that type of thing, was that he will not back down and just give up like osama wants to do. he will pull out, and if you think this war will go on for his whole term (if elected) your on crack. everyone can see that the war is doing JACK SHIT for us. all he is saying is that hes not going to be a complete moron and just pull out with no regard to anything that has happend in the last few years.

so now with war out of the way, i just wanted to shoot a quick quote from page three, that fusion magazine report:

Totals

$286.999 BILLION

Projected annual spending for Obama’s proposals

$218 BILLION

Projected annual spending for Clinton’s proposals

$7 BILLION

Projected annual spending for McCain’s proposals

$54 BILLION

Projected annual spending for Huckabee’s proposals

$150 BILLION (in savings)

Projected savings after Ron Paul eliminates most of the Government.

...who the fuck is paying for that shit?

Don't believe everything the media tells you. the fact is that the numbers don't add up to what people are telling you. the tax cuts were great for this country and here is why. i have more but here are a few things you have addressed.

1. the economy HAS flourished during bushes term if office, and dramatically for that matter.

The 2003 tax cuts lowered income, capital gains, and dividend tax rates, thus causing MORE business. GDP grew at an annual rate of just 1.7 percent in the six quarters before the 2003 tax cuts. In the six quarters following the tax cuts, the growth rate flourished an amazing 4.1 percent.

2. Tax revenues correlate with economic growth, not tax rates. Despite major

fluctuations in income tax rates, long-term tax revenues have grown at almost exactly the same rate as GDP, remaining between 17 percent and 20 percent of GDP for 46 of the past 50 years.

3. THE RICH.The individual income tax rate reductions(for the rich) comes to $59 billion in 2007 and are not really a tax cut for the rich. All families with taxable incomes over $62,000 (and single filers over $31,000) benefit. Repealing this tax cut would reduce work incentives and raise taxes on millions of families and small businesses, thereby harming the economy and min imizing any new revenues.

4. unemployment rates are at an all time low (mainly due to illegal immigration in my opinion)

With Mcain and all of this 100 years of war bullshit, there could be a draft because of lack of soldiers. If you want to keep skiing and not have to go to the Middle East for something you do no support then vote Obama

ha ha you beat me to this... here is the rest of what glen beck had to say on the spending

What this spending does

1. Push us deeper and further into debt at a time when we absolutely can’t afford it;

2. Reflect a particular paternalistic approach to governing—a true NANY STATE

3. Each proposal increases the absolute RAW power of government

you can't just push war out of the way because war costs money, and what does John McCain want, he wants more WAR, that's what this man is about, I don't give a shit if he's a veteran, I respect veterans, but we need a president that has good judgement, John McCain doesn't have this, he's a fuck'n Imperial Madman! He wants to bring us into Iran - are you fucking kidding me!? I'm sick and tired of hearing him march around saying "There's gonna be more wars my friends, we have hard times ahead of us" I would much rather spend money on the health of our country than spend money on WAR WAR and more fuck'n WAR. As if every country in the middle east is a "threat to the security of our nation." Our country needs to get away from that bullshit.

Could you please list your source for those numbers? sounds to me like this was shit straight from a conservative think tank

my liberal information? I understand that it is basically impossible to find an objective news source, to think that what is being presented to you is unfiltered and completely unbiased is both naive and ignorant, no matter what it is. Therefore I do my best to make a decision based on information I hear from many different sources, I try to listen to every argument and opinion openly and try to deconstruct what is being presented. I believe the more you can do this as an individual, the closer your viewpoint will be to actual reality rather than a produced reality.

I am going to take a stand here to make an argument that I think a post with information that has been copied and pasted from a think tank affiliated with a political motive is more likely to be misleading propaganda than say a formulated opinion from what someone has read/heard on
wikipedia, and multiple other (often with competing viewpoints) sources.

and here we have a.....

..... perfect asshole comment, please go ahead and say that to all the women you know
