I see a bunch of kids wearing twin tips that don't even do park or anything, its just a fad. Having big companies like McDonalds come into skiing will only piss me off more by making people think its cool to have twins even though they don't even use them.

LISTEN FOOLS. I'm pretty sure those ads are in there because those companies buy an advertising package from Transworld Media. Then they just get ads in all of Transworld's magazines. I don't think Freeze actually has a say in it.

Im the only one who cares, because from here, on my end, it seems like im the only one whos informed. Mcdonalds are the most decietful company in the fast food industry. Marketing food is no where near beneficial to you to CHILDREN. do you guys understand that? There marketing and promoting food thats NOT GOOD FOR YOU to kids. They have marketing campaigns that target the youth, who cant think for themselves. They promote 100% all beef patties, which isnt lying, because the company that makes there fake beef burgers name is 100% all beef! A little decietful yes? They are consuming authentic culture WORLD WIDE, popping up in japan, saudi arabia, and other naturally beautiful places in the world and smearing there logo all over there sky line. Fucking americanization. Im not anti corporate, im anti MCDONALDS.... then this company, who does all these horrible things, just invades your sport, the sport i love, and will never let go..... and fucking brands it. Puts RONALD MCDONALD ON A FUCKING HANDRAIL.... and you guys say its ok... you guys dont even give a shit about it.... because its giving skiing a little corporate boost.

I think you all need to second guess your priorities.

The big companies have way more money to spend on marketing, and face facts - it helps you in the long run. It helps pay for your magazines, or helps pay for the events you go to, or the contests you enter.

All of this shit-talk about staying core and no growth and no punters on twin tips - suck it up. Growth is important. Twin tips wouldn't be around for you to buy without growth. Terrain parks and their sponsorship from people like Sprite or Telus wouldn't be there either.

But yeah guys/gals, printing magazines and shipping them worldwide costs a hell of a lot more than you'd think, plus you gotta pay all your employees and all that jazz. After all is said and done, a magazine will actually lose mass amounts of money if they don't advertise, especially with some of these big companies that litterally ram money up their asses to but an ad in their magazine.

The magazine has been around for a while, they were healthy before. There are more and more ski companies with more and more money. Also skate and snowboard brands should be advertised. Stuff like Bonfire, Analog, Globe, DC. They have lots of money, McDonalds probably doesnt pay any morethan 4frnt does to advertise in the same space.

McDonalds has no place in skiing. Period.
