im doing ussa races.
first they tell me to use poles. once i use them for the reason skiers started to use them, (for turning) they tell me not to do that. HA. whatever.
and i dont compete anymore. i told you why i dont. I'm not the best park skier, so why waste my time proving that? i did the back9 and icer air, and i will do them both again.
and lacking variety....? i wish i could laugh in your face. you talk like im only going to be skiing race courses. i ski pipe, i slide rails, i hit park kickers, i hit bc kickers, i drop cliffs, i hit natural hits, i turn on groomers, i turn in pow, i turn around gates, i straight line, I SKI...if i feel, i'll do all those backwards. (and my favorite thing is pillows. but im yet to figure out how to make it through them backwards.) im sure thats more "variety" than most. oh...and yes, ive done urban.
but im over this. now you'll really want to hate me, but thats fine. if you were making money to do what you loved...would you not mix it up?
and one last thing. i dont want to progress park skiing. ive got much bigger slopes to deal with. THANKS and THANKS. goodbye...i will go do my thing, on my own.
