Macs Dont Get Viruses Right?

i mean, if ur going for fasion statement and ur buying a mac, il give you that argument. That case is fucking shiny as fuck. AGREED. BUT also, the whole virus argument isnt there because i clearly explained you can download the operating system for twenty nine dollars. Therefore its as safe as a mac because you are running the mac Operating system, witch has less viruses written for it. But if scoring style points with a shiny case to get laid is ur plan, then i guess its cool. wont bash you for that.
 
it has no viruses tho. and everythign you buy has some fashion statement, doesnt it. those jeans.. they keep you warm and are a strong pair of levis. but yeah, you spent a lil more for the skinny fit. same thing with the macbook pro.
and to get into hardware. hte mac makes a better laptop. the PCs make a really nice desktop.

So you buy a Mac for how it looks and because it gets you pussy and it improves your self esteem because you have a "sexy computer"....alright whatever man.

Also you can get free anti-virus software for windows and it catches everything to my knowledge since I haven't gotten a virus or anything while using it since it auto cleans anything it finds.

Also...enjoy playing game on your Mac.

Also PCs are not a hassel unless you are a fucking idiot and have no basic computer knowledge.
 
hahaha word, i have a dell studio 1555 modded to shit, but the keys lit up stock as well. Im not gonna lie its old, before they fixed their cooling issue, so i did have to fix up the heatsink, but my laptop is sexy. Maybe not as sleek as the mac, but its still sleek. Im more of a performance guy tho, so we're from two diff perspectives.

how is sony with their hardware? room for expansion? i found it difficult to ass a second 512 card on my parents xps 1730, but i managed to do it haha, now running dual cards. This was like 2 years ago too, fucking tank of a pc

Do you have an xps? just because in terms of upgrading laptops dell really did a good job with letting you mess with the internals however a lot of other computers are still more tough to get in. Other than alienware, but mostly its for gamers who WILL need more out of there computer a few years down the line.

As for the kid who bought a mac to make a fashion statement that's just fucking retarded and I guarantee there is a PC that you would think looks better.

Typically if you know what you're doing, PCs won't get messed up. I think a lot of people are forgetting the solid OS that was Windows XP. Vista had several flaws (which is all people think of when they think of Windows) that have now been corrected in Windows 7, which is also a great OS. By the way, for any of those people still paying for antivirus for their PC, you should check out Avast Antivirus. It works great, doesn't inhibit performance (fuck Norton) and it's totally free. Also check out Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, which is really good at eliminating viruses once they have ended up on your PC.
 
Macs can viruses as easily as PCs. Steve jobs admitted this in an interview. PC's make up about 90% of the market whereas macs make up about 10%. Why make a virus for a mac when you have a greater chance of infecting a PC. This is why virus are predominately for PCs
 
So about a year ago I learned that Chinese Hackers had figured out how to create something that looked exactly like, and installed like Automatic Updates. You didn't need to click on it. If you saw it happening, it would appear to just be another Windows Automatic Update, but it would installing malware on your system or download data. That was for XP when XP was 3 generations old, but the Chinese hackers are apparently catching up fast.

So this attack on Macs means that there are those who are actively working on it. Unfortunately I believe it is just a matter of time before any on line computer can be compromised. The attack won't have to be "stupid" user triggered; it will just happen.

the only thing i really need with this is a 5.1 sound card to keep up with my system, the cooling and the configuration of the case is probably one of the best stock systems that was being put together 2 years ago when i purchased it. The cooling of this machine is unbelievable.

my studio is ok for expansion, i wish that the motherboard laptop standard had more than just two ram slots. but all in all im happy with my dells. And my xps desktop, and my moms xps desktop are both incredible machines. Alienware is overpriced in my opinion, but their configuration is really good. Amazing cooling systems haha.

My friend (A fucking legit hacker who's teaching me) has been monitored by the FBI multiple times. He also got the cops called on his neighbor (He was using his neighbors IP in front of his proxxy) for DDOSing google.
 
THe macbook air is a very user specific PC, by that i mean its targeted at a small group of users that will make the best of it. The whole thing is built around the idea of mobility. Really light, and for fucks sake its so skinny they barely fit the usb port in the side of it. This is one thing mac is good at doing, making shit really small.

You do have alot of downsides tho. No cd drive. You want to watch a movie on a cd? not happening. Wanna burn a disk for a friend? (i know this is something that was a regular occurrence in the early 2000's, but literally am burning a cd for a friend today lol) can do it.

Your standard processor is very small, a 1.4ghz duo. I have an old computer from like 1998 that had the same processor speed hahahaha. All in all, you are sacrificing alot for the mobility aspect, but when im boarding a plane and see how skinny and light that thing is, im not gonna lie, i wish my laptop was that small.

Id definitely recommend to look at vaio's line, dell's xps 15z has a really good setup for the same price, with a disk drive, and delivers better specs. same price, and HP has a good mobility line. Remember, it will look and feel like a mac, all you need to do is drop 30 bucks to buy the operating system. Thre rest is just hardware.

Have a look at the samsung series 9 netbook. Sexy as fuck, best looking comp around. But is has the power of laptop i5 in it I think.

But it's pretty fucking expensive.

MY G37 is 150x better than any shitty mac. Also, deezy, claiming a mac is better because of looks not only makes you look like a hipster, it makes you look like a moronic hipster.
