Macs Dont Get Viruses Right?

Wow some of the responses in this thread are priceless.
To all of you saying you have to be retarded to get a virus on a mac, windows computers obtain viruses the exact same way you do. As mentioned earlier, you have to commit an action to get a virus on both windows and mac os. It's not like I turn on my computer and am connected to the internet and BAM i get a virus. You either have to open an email, download some sketchy file, click a link, etc. This is the same for both fucking platforms, so get Jobs' dick of your ass and see the similarities.
Fanboys also said how it's about time Macs get viruses. First of all, they've been out forever but as mentioned previously, barely anyone in the world uses mac os. Apple has less than 10% marketshare globally(check ANY source), so who's gonna waste their time making a virus that affects that small number of people?
I don't really have anything else to say. Fanboys, you're just upset because you bought a mac for this exact reason (not getting a virus). Soon you will be forced to download legit antivirus programs and this argument will be totally invalid.

I've been using my laptop for well over 3 years now and never once had any sort of virus protection + have visited countless porn sites on a regular basis and have never once gotten a virus. argument goes both ways. I CAN get a virus, but it hasn't happened. and I'm not using a mac.

I cant remember the last time I got a virus on my PC. My AV program will occasionally block a virus from downloading, but that's about it.

I don't see myself needing a new comp for the rest of my time in college and i've had my MBP for almost two years already. so that will come out to around 6 years, and by that point i don't actually see myself needing to upgrade, i just probably will for the fuck of it.
