M&A stoke

I should actually do that for shits and giggles. But I imagine it to be way to soft.

Quoting TijmenDal$:

And Lawrence: screw you. Seriously. I don't know where those thrift-shops of yours are, but in Amsterdam I've never found anything worthwhile...

I can't help it that I have a thrift shop good buy rader. But I'm not always lucky, one of my shops sold a Complete Cambo setup a week ago to a guy who wanted to use it in his home as a piece of design..

So there's more than one? I thought you had this one crazy thrift-shop somewhere in the country-side. Nothing in Amsterdam itself right?

The one in the countryside has been the provider of 95% of my camera acquisitions. Mostly because they know jack shit about camera's apart from the two Hasselblad's which they priced at 5K each. (Not even joking.)

I occasionally visit the Amsterdam thriftshops when I'm near but they are shit since they get raided four times a day and the camera's that remain are either broken or priced way too high.

Want to stroke my front element?

I was thrift shopping long before you started posting ridic finds (remember when I found a Nikon FE with a 28 AIs and a 50 AI for 20$?)

But yeah, screw you, Thomas, the 80's was fucking awesome for industrial design. the 90's is when shit went south.

Owning 2 of those, no, you can't even mount the rokkor 58 1.2

At least the M6 came out, but even that went to zinc instead of brass so I must scoff at it

Also, the 80's produced some pretty looking cameras like the Nikon F3, FA, Olympus OM3, Pentax LX, Contax S2, Olympus XA series, Contax T-series, etc etc etc.

Dat 110mm tho

Been spending my weekend playing with a 1dx and 200-400mm 4L IS USM 1.4x tele, yeah....

Mmmnnn, tasty

There was one on KEH quite recently, but I didn't know I would be getting the RZ and now it's gone :(

Also why does the 50mm ULD have to be so damn expensive! I love 28mm on my full frame cameras, but the cheaper 50mm non-ULD has shit reviews.

get the W not the non W, all RZ W lenses are better better then anything you have ever used. You are not shooting anything that warrants the cost of ULD's. Also I hope you have a decent backpack, and no I don't mean dakine.

not stoke, but does anybody have any tips on where to get color film developed? I have access to a darkroom to do black and white but not color, and there's nowhere anywhere near me to go and get film developed. the local Rite-Aid could send my film out to one of their developing locations, but I'm not sure I trust them.

What in the hell happened here?

It's not even a light leak, but the entire right side of this one image is just a sea of black, I'm dumbfounded.

Minolta X-300, there's one other shot on the roll that also has the exact same issue (complete with a light leak), if it was the shutter I would have surely seen it in other frames...

My X-700 has a broken capacitor, I still need to fix it. The X-300 really just is an X-700 without the beeps and exp. compensation.

And @ Balto, I'll get a Leica again one day but now I'm thinking about a brick, the most Advanced brick Nikon ever made (Hold the F6, no interchangeable prism that actually no one ever used=no real F.)

Personally, I'm a big fan of my F80 and even the F100 over the F5...

I'd only buy that if I wanted to blow through film like it was free.

REALLY jacked on Rode's customer support right now. I ended up getting hit by a rider while glidecam-ing last week and cracked the basket on my Rode Videomic Pro. I figured I'd have to pay some ridiculous amount to get just the basket replaced so I emailed them and they're sending me the required parts that I need...no questions asked! Super good customer service if you ask me.

Isn't it a 10 yr warranty on them?

I haven't broken anything on mine yet, but I have always been confident from what I've heard of them being super standup as a company.

Just shot several rolls at an awesome gig.Great atmosphere, good music, great bands, girls, beer but the best moment was before it began.

As the other photographers got out their 1Dx's and D4's they scoffed at my film camera's, but ten min. later when they were comparing who had the biggest buffer rating on Raw + Jpeg I was backstage in the dressing room having a smoke and a beer with the bands.

It really pays to know the band. :)

Stoke! My boss had an 11-16 he dropped a couple of years ago and bent the mount on, he took it apart and tried to fix it but ended up giving up on it. I found it in a drawer and asked if I could try to fix it. One phone call and 34$ latter I have an 11-16, much crisper then my 6.5 mm fish

Submitted some shots to Flash Forward Festival in Boston and this one got selected. Stoked to have some work shown in a legit exhibition!
