M&A stoke

Shot my first wedding yesterday, went super well! Halfway through I thought I fucked up big time and I was panicking and shit but turns out its all good! Stoked

Yeah man, I know that feeling! Except I screwed up the first wedding I shot, I had a horrible angle on the kiss because the pastor skipped about half of the ceremony. Even though I specialize in landscape photography, weddings can be a lot of fun to shoot. Congrats on your first wedding

I got an e-mail yesterday saying that Twisted Pine Brewing here in Boulder wants to display three of my photos starting March 19th! I'm pretty stoked about that!

Made $200 last night doing a small video project for a friend of a friend. woohoo, finally a college student who understands the value of video

sort of under the same lines ^, made $250 for 2 hours of editing, only editing. 1st freelance helping out a friend in need

Got a free t2i.

Sold my 60D for 700$.

Win.

Oh, and also just bought a Tascam DR-40 so I don't have to borrow one anymore.

Victory!

just got one of these.

and I'm probably picking up a Nikon F2 kit fo frizzay.

I really don't get why people give a shit if a lens is loud. I like to hear something whine sometimes so I know it's working and shit.

Either way. Fucking awesome lens.

I also picked up a 430ex II which is awesome as shit since I have a legit flash now. Lots of fun photos incoming.

sexy!

I never get why people run a huge ass epic rig in a semi controlled environment on redvolts though. Don't they last like 60minutes if that? V mounts tend to take up less space and last longer than the 4 battery module from what i've heard

Grats!

Stoke:

Got a paid job, 2 actually. One was just a couple of interviews mixed in with some timelapses and whatnot, I didn't want any money from this guy cause I felt like a douche costing him 250 for a couple interviews. (He named the price). Other one was a Bat Mitzvah montage that came out really nice. Got 350 for that and a photoshoot I did for the girl. Not bad.

Yeah I can just send you a rough cut on vimeo if you want to give an opinion.

The second one isn't fully done yet.

I'm currently on vacation in utah stackin shots with willy wonka.

/images/flash_video_placeholder.pngFinished this today. Pretty stoked on it. These are just the first few lines we filmed too. Still working on parts 2 and 3 but the climbing and filming are much better. Let me know what you think.

I'm having way to much fun on this Fuji Xpro1... This shit is absolutely balls out infuckingcredible... having the entire range of lenses is pretty sweet too.

I'm absolutely going to have to pick myself up a Fuji X100 in the next few years.

My token French Hipster artist friend just got his Leica M240. He is going to his place in NY for the weekend but he will take a detour past Amsterdam so I can salivate over it.

I'll be sure to bring several clean pants.

I think all my friends might be token friends...

But he really is the prototype for a French hipster, he smokes 3 packages of gauloises a day minimum, knicked his jeans from an eleven year old girl, has several small random tattoos, always wear at least one leather item, has the most lucious black hair, has a relationship with a 50 year old rich milf and he earns money by DJing his experimental house music in underground clubs.

He also develops all his pictures myself and occasionally mine. He developed my Paris series.

He is flooding in cash from that milf and his parents who died in a tragic car accident in the Alps.

He has the 0,95 Nocti and 50 Sumi, also the WATE, he had the MATE but sold that I think. He has a crazy collection of gear. Next up on his list to buy is the S2-P.

haven't shot in a couple weeks, but lately I've been getting more motivated to get out and shoot and also trying to learn new techniques mainly for editing. Feels awesome to be motivated again after such a long period of little/no motivation. Would also be nice if the weather starts to get nicer, just dumped at least a foot today no joke.

Don't you already work a lot in this industry? I thought you would have had a full plate at this time of year

Awesome!Working on the final episode of the europe series, and then in 10 days I'm back to a stacked schedule of filming bikes day and night.
