i've taken 3 art history courses in the last 2 semesters, 2 of which focused primary on photography.
i understand who henri is and i get that owning that book is actually pretty cool, but trying to get attention and shoving your ego driven head down everyones throat is unnecessary. if people under stand who henri is and what he did thats great, but if people don't who cares, most people here aren't trying to become the next great street artist.
i didn't necessarily mean to offend, but you sometimes do the same thing. you explain your point on the situation, regardless of your stance, and then tend to reiterate it multiple times on the same thread. we understand your opinion but we don't need it said three of 4 times, hence "shoving it down peoples throats"
especially when i read most comments like "i dont give a fuck what people think about my opinion". thats great and i really like that about your NS personality, but you are essentially contradicting yourself and it gets fucking annoying
I own george bridgeman's complete guide to drawing from life. I think its cool because It's like, all of his figure and anatomy books combined into one, pretty easy to find though and not very special.
Also I've got Portrait in Light and Shadow: The Life of Yousuf Karsh. Haven't read it yet, but it was a gift to me. That's the only photography book I own.
It would be like getting one of the few hundred/thousand EPIC's left in the world after they weren't produced anymore and a lot of them were for an extremely good price. I'm just stoked. So yeah... Go fuck yourself.
And to your last line: Evan is a good guy.
And to your second-last line: Most here aren't trying to become the next great street artist, but people ARE here to LEARN; and if there's anything you can do from HCB's books or any photography book for that matter, it's LEARN
Yeah I understand that, but come on... if no one responds, don't keep stating it and demanding some sort of response. Its like that guy who keeps telling the same joke even though no one is laughing at it the first time. Just be stoked for yourself on it!
eh...you're really reaching hard there. theres a difference between reiterating your stance multiple times in a debate and quoting yourself saying essentially the whole thing multiple times because nobody has replied to it.
regardless, that is sick tijmen. i just found out about that book this past semester and it seems sweet.
Dropped off a roll of film, my last final is next thursday and I'm either leaving that night or friday morning. Hopefully the film gets back before I leave for winter break.
shooting for santigold, metric, philthy rich, richie hawtin, the expandables, of monsters and men, jack white, gaslight anthem and the shins all this month.
Although we've had our differences, Im actually really stoked on this video, I really liked the color grade/song and that GH2 footage looks so damn nice, good work man
Im stoked that I finally got a legit color grading system, and that there is snow in the forecast in UT so i can get back in the streetz with my crew and continue making my movie!

that is legit! got to see gaslight anthem and the expendables and they were both amazing live. im guessing the others will be just as good. thats awesome man!
Wow! That's great man! I think I can speak for all of us that we're jealous. I've seen Corsten a number of times (Dutch DJ) and was a lot of fun.
How did you book all that (all of a sudden?). I don't really know your history and if you shoot gigs often, but this sounds like you're even a little (positively) overwhelmed. Could you give us a little insight (so we can learn). Did everyone contact you through your site (and if so, is the site in your sig your only site?)
Finally got around to testing some gh2 clips....It's amazing how much quality is lost when going through imovie (which i hate). I'm saving up for a better program but for now does anyone have some tips for maximizing gh2 quality in imovie?
sorry for dub post, but what i meant to say was that neither of the videos were shot wide open. they may look soft from the screenshot, if thats what you mean.
