What be this loop rail i have been hearing about? Is it like just a full circle rail or do you go inverted? I think it would be crazy if they had a rail thet was like a corkscrew. U culd get fucked up so bad.

No cause then you're feet would come out from you. The reason I'm saying it's impossible is because there is no way to balance out on it. You'd have to hit it with an exact amount of speed to grease it. It's all mathematics baby.

why would you say tanner? He isn't the best rail slider out there. Dave Crichton, Steele Spence, Peter Olenik, could all do more rails than tanner

do you have any idea how much speed you would need for a loop box? It would be impossible, unless it was like a corkscreww. Actually, I dont think that would even be possible. They did a snow loop already though.

When they made the snow loop, you had to go at it at an angle so youd be able to come out the other side. same would be true with a rail, so there would be no true 'loop rail. its possible, but who could do that shit???

how would you make the rail so when you loop back down you dont hit your skis on the 1st upturned part of the loop

if you did make a loop box (start with something simpler than a rail) it would have to be at least 12 feet high at the top. the reason being that any height lower would make the loop sooo small that the speed of the loop and the adjustment you would have to make during the slide would be impossible. also the whole obstacle would have to be 12 feet wide so that you would always completely avoid the other parts of the rails.

in terms of a curved wallride, where I ski the groomer idiots made the QP with a curve so unless u hit it straight on u would have to adjust and land on the ice ball backside

the thicker and wider the rail the less torque and wobbling. it works like the principle of the fat shaft in golf

it will be done, look at skiers these days, if they can do 630s and 810s off of rainbows and backflips on and off rails, they can do a box loop at least. just because ud shit your pants trying doesnt mean the pros will.
