mo-rod, youre calculations are skewed. according to my physcis equations, the loop would have to be 14 feet. 12 feet would just not suffice

have you guys seen the clip of the snowboard upside down rail, i think its on this site, it would really work though b/c of bindings

 
there have been two snowboard upside down attempts. one was an rail set up kind of like the parallel bars in gymnastics that are like 2-3 apart. the second was off a jump the rail was attached to a tree and he kissed the rail with his board before smacking his face into the ice 12 feet below!
