just look back to the first snowboarders that were doing rodeos in the mid-late 90s, it was by definition heel roll, and a backside 180 for a bs rodeo 5. toe roll and frontside 180 for fs rodeo.
since you're flipping clockwise and spinning counter clockwise, the two get blended differently with different riders, so i mean not all rodeos look like a defined side flip and spin, but thats the basis of the trick. Anyways I'm starting to sound like im writing a paper for school so you can take it or leave it, im sure you know what a rodeo is and looks like, just alot of you never thought of it that way.
