to tell you the truth i thought they were snowboards at first...but i hope BFF stands for BIG FAT FUCKER...
 
correct me if im wrong...but thats almost as wide as some snowboards no?

cause i have seen wide boards that are like 23 cm underfoot...which is 230 mm....thats just fucking crazy
 
if you check liberty's site they have a story from one of thei pros who rode them and said they were sick. he even did a couple laps in the park.
 
in the pic on the site, he has his bindings center mounted width-wise. wouldn't it make more sense for the bindings to be near the inside edge on such a wide ski?
 
That's how the old Rossignol Axioms were, but I'm not sure how those ride....never had a pair.

I think this ski is a huge transgression from logic though, so it's exempt from anything thoughtful.

some guy brought in some circa 1985 monoski the other day the shop for a tune and it looks like that, with a pintail instead of the swallow. I want to get two and mount them up as powderboards. they are like ~130 underfoot and the shovel is huge.
 
they kinda look like really over sized snowblades and where do u find brakes for those (200 waist!!!)
 
theyd prolly just break in a week anyway, looks like they would dive like crazy too, have they not been paying attention to recent powder skis at all?
 
Bindings? Ha! Obviously you are not familiar with Speedism.

You nail them to your feet with railroad spikes, dawn your Crown of Thorns and bomb down the mountain with your nuts on fire and a silent scream in your throat.
 
no it wouldnt. think about being on your inside edge. i don't think any ski would work very well without the bindings mounted center
 
I don't get all the hate.

They aren't making you ride them, and if they have a press and the will to do it, why not? I for one would at least give them a try, I bet they could be a bit of fun, or at least something different.

This ridiculous. Just because someone tries something new everyone jumps on them. This is the exact same shitty mentality that holds us all back. Relax, take a breath, and realize that change is going to happen whether you like it or not, and that you will not be forced to use these in the park.
